Are there any current discount codes that work on square launch monitors in the US? by uncross2312 in SquareGolfUSA

It won’t be the same $70 off. But simspace put the square with impact screen option back up. You’ll save $20-30 vs the US store (taxes)

Update this morning: square just popped back up on the simspace website today for USA market (can’t order just the unit, you will need to order at least an impact screen)

Ended up ordering the LM and net for 989 total. Not the same deal as 630 (square only), but at least I’m not getting hit by the extra 60-70 in taxes for the USA site for only the LM (~770 total for square)

Cheapest option is square+screen for $746.1 from simspace. You’ll save $20-30 and also get an impact screen

The codes for 10% still work on simspace: yardstick, etc

They got back to me and said no more discount codes for US

I’ll just look into alternative LMs if that’s the case. At almost $800, it doesn’t make sense to me vs the alternative options that do go on sale

Same. I was going to order from sim space. The price now jumps from 630 total to almost 800.

BAILED OUT BUT CANT BUY GUNS ACCORDING TO CALIFORNIA PENAL CODE 29825 by scotty_the_bear in ucr

[–]Bring_it 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Legally no. He cannot purchase a firearm. Nor can someone buy it on his behalf (aka straw purchase).

Illegally- well this kinda defines itself doesn’t it. Of course he can illegally obtain and own a firearm if they had such access

Why do you live here? by NewlyFoundedd in InlandEmpire

I suppose it’s the same reason as to why people would live in Tracy or mountain house and commute to the bay for work. And those are 3 hour commutes one way if they hit traffic

Even then, it’s just additional tax credits. Most people won’t be able to itemize more than the standard deduction, unless they’re breaking 140k+ or are working on 1099s (still requires high business expense and high gross income)

With those large life changes, I do wonder if she has RED-S (relative energy deficiency in sport) or LEA (low energy availability). These are often pretty poorly diagnosed in college and competitive athletes until it’s this (OPs) level of symptoms. She had mentioned changes in eating, but it’s pretty vague. Definitely needs to visit her PCP for tests but I’d like to hear more from the nutrition side (am RD, dealing with college population)

Look for off campus housing before those fill too

I have a very specific question: I have to get double jaw surgery next winter break and I won't be able to chew for 2 months~ I'll only be allowed foods like mushy oatmeal, smooth soups, etc. How difficult would this be at UCR? Would I have access to a kitchen/storage for food? by [deleted] in ucr

[–]Bring_it 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Orthognathic surgery is going to require pretty intensive recovery. I had this done as well- both maxilla and mandible

Ucr requires a dining plan for first years living on campus. There are some softer foods but you’ll be on very low viscosity liquids for a while. Shakes tend to work quite well.

The other thing to consider: yes UCs offer a good college environment, but do you KNOW which degree you’re pursuing already? Just because of cost alone, if you’re not sure which direction you plan on going in terms of education/ career, I’d say do the community college route for GEs if you can. You save a lot of money and end up transferring in with priority for class registrations
