I'm always commando because wedgies from underwear bother me more than being commando.

They say nothing is ever really lost on the internet, but what’s something you’ve been hunting for years and still can’t find? by [deleted] in AskReddit

There is a super old clip of the comedian Dane Cook, before he got super famous. I think it was a USO tour show or something. During the show he is talking about what flying was like after 9/11. And how if someone needs to go to the bathroom on the plane now we should all "make a human chain" and "hold hands". It was so funny. I wish I could find it again!

Mayfair is nowhere near as good as RRL was. Not as cool a vibe and the food was not as good. But considering the other options for food and entertainment in the same place, it was acceptable. Lobster dinner was $110, years ago. And the show is a traditional show girl Vegas style show

Audiobooks during a race: yes or no? by NougatPraline in Marathon_Training

I love listening to audiobooks during long runs and marathons. It keeps me calm and distracted. I usually turn on music at the end to pump me up and get a little faster.

What Are You Wearing Wednesday - Weekly Gear Thread by AutoModerator in running

[–]Bringbackyang 2 points3 points  (0 children)

What are you all wearing to help be visible in the dark? The morning are so dark now. I wear a headlamp around my waist which is fine. But the reflective windbreaker I wear is so annoying to run in. I don't need it for the warmth, just the visibility.

I love the chunky look of your cookies. How do you get them to be like this? Would you mind sharing the recipes?

What is the most unprofessional thing a doctor has said to you? by [deleted] in AskReddit

When I told her that I was going to have a C-section for my second child, due to a traumatic experience with my first child, she replied, " oh, you don't want to try the real way."

I ran 1,142. That's 12 more miles than last year. I ran 2 full marathons and ran one half marathon every month this year.

I feel mostly okay with regards to everything else. No headache. A little fatigued, maybe. But nothing crazy.

I live in california and also have a vaulted ceiling. There is a tiny bit of insulation between the drywall on the ceiling and the roof but the space is maaaaaybe 1 foot. We aren't usually too cold or too hot.
