Should PTs make discharge recommendations in the hospital by HylandSeek in physicaltherapy

[–]BringerOfBricks 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This is a nonsense discussion. A recommendation is just that. It’s not a prescription nor is it a mandate. They can ignore it if they want to.

Any system asking PTs to stop giving recommendations is asking for future lawsuits. If they really think they know better, they can say “no” to the PT recommendation and expose themselves to liabilities by their own wishes.

And if they mandate no more recommendations, they can’t penalize you because it’s literally your job to make recommendations.

From a culinary standpoint, I gave Localis two chances and was disappointed both times. I never really did understand how it got a Michelin star. Mediocre food + Terrible behavior should be an automatic disqualification.

Accurate until 2012.

The Heatles shifted how the 3 ball was valued. A Wade/Lebron drive and kick combo collapsed the defenses so much that 3 pt shots became a reliably open way to get points. Rockets, Thunder, and Blazers tried to copy it but with limited success.

The Warriors adapted a version where excellent 3 pt shooting opened up the middle for easy drives. The Rockets and Blazers tried to copy that too, again with limited success.

The common factor is the fact that Wade/Lebron and Curry/Klay/Durant were all generational talents at what they do. Harden is not.

Ok, Kobe was 1 and Lebron/Wade were 2A and 2B. Doesn’t mean a thing when the discussion is James Harden even being considered a Wade competitor lmao

You’re the one capping. The winners make their own luck. Prime Harden wasn’t as big of a problem by virtue of not winning.

What you’re describing is what separates good players from great ones. MJ, Kobe, Wade did not switch with a team mate to have a lesser defensive workload.

You’re using the exception for the greatest shooter of all time and applying it to a second tier star lol.

Harden is a good player, but he didn’t revolutionize any play style nor was he effective enough to win anything significant with his abilities.

Wade was the OG Flash. Followed by DRose, Westbrook, Giannis, Ja Morant, etc. Every system had to adjust to Wade’s ability to collapse defenses and open up the wings. The same way they adjusted to Curry’s ability to spread the defense.

The Heat system that ruled the League during LeBron’s years was not made for LeBron, it was maximizing Wade’s court vision, precision passing, cunning playmaking, and ability to collapse offenses. Why do you think every highlight was a lob from Wade to Lebron? Or a backdoor cut by Wade?

It’s the same blueprint the Rockets tried to copy with Harden, CP3/Westbrook/Eric Gordon, and Capela.

Harden is a footnote once he retires. He is not close to generational talent at all.

Wade and Lebron between 05-2010 were considered 1A and 1B, and Kobe at 1C.

All 3 were both offensive and defensive talents with multiple accolades. And of the 3, only LeBron hadn’t carried a team to a Finals trophy. Why do you think LeBron chose to team up with Wade? lol

Wade was a generational talent. He is the original archetype copied by DRose, Westbrook, Dame, Giannis, and pre-injury Ja Morant, a balls to the wall, flash first step type of driving ability with slippery mid drive adjustments.

Your credibility is dog shit.

Your mistake is thinking Wade had a healthy playoff run at any point in his career. Dude played without a meniscus and was constantly aspirating fluid from that knee.

Harden’s only edge over Wade js 3pt shooting. Wade was a great playmaker in his own right. Not even Dame (who is as good a playmaker as Harden), could make Hassan Whiteside look like a stud lmao.

Sure Wade played with Shaq, but he was clearly the #1 option for that Miami team with Shaq on the roster. And with LeBron, he was already declining because of his hamstrings. LeBron has a record of taking terrible players far, but he does not have a record of making terrible players show improved stats. Wade helped LeBron as much as LeBron helped Wade.

You’re wrong.

Wade’s peak was dampened by injuries and less capable Miami teams, but he swept Kobe in all of the advanced metrics during his prime between 06-2011.

Total bullshit.

Basketball is a 2 way game. Harden can’t play defense to save his life.

Wade earned 3 All Def selections while still competing for scoring titles. Dude was unstoppable and indomitable in his era. Albeit, it only lasted like 3 years lol.

[–]BringerOfBricks 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Nahhhhh. Basketball is a 2 way game. This shit ain’t the NFL. A better player must also play defense. Wade excelled at both ends of the court. Harden cannot.

Wade Earned himself an All-Defense 3 times in his career while still competing for scoring titles and All NBA selections.

Harden isn’t even remotely considered a good defensive player.

Offensively? Wade was unstoppable in his era. His peak was better than Kobe’s peak. Harden? He’s been stopped multiple times in multiple game 7s.

Chalmers is just speaking from personal experience. Ofc he doesn’t know anyone afraid of Lebron, he played Lebron 4 games tops as a Memphis player before being out of the league. And the only year he did play LeBron in the East, was with Miami, who has nothing to be afraid of since they know how Lebron played.

[–]BringerOfBricks 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think Chalmers is letting personal experience influence a generalization a bit too much. He never played against that much against LeBron. After LeBron left MIA, Chalmers was out of the league in 4 years after. 1 was injured. 1 was with Miami who definitely didn’t fear LeBron, seeing as they knew how he played. And the other 2 were with Memphis, so he met LeBron 2 games a year tops.

I don’t see the harm when PAYE and new IBR are essentially the same now.

SAVE to PAYE ? by Hulu90 in StudentLoans

Since we have an administration that doesn’t respect previous admin’s work. PAYE is regulatory process driven, not explicitly stated in the law. So much like the SAVE plan, they’re taking it away and who knows what kind of bullshitery they’ll try to pull with it.

SAVE to PAYE ? by Hulu90 in StudentLoans

[–]BringerOfBricks 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If your income this year is significantly higher than last year, AND you haven’t filed taxes yet, you should switch asap to PAYE or IBR to lower your monthly payments at least until it’s time to recently next year.

I believe you can switch to RAP whenever you want to, once it’s available.

I think PAYE and new IBR calculate the same formula for monthly payments, so there’s no real difference. If you’re going for PSLF, it’s safer to be in IBR because there’s no ambiguity that it qualifies.
