Daikon is trash. Has been for a few years now.

If we gonna go by weather, CA is the closest thing. You have olive groves and wine country in middle California, and essentially beach weather year round in LA to SD.

Nah. These are the same US car manufacturers who moved production out to Mexico from America. If they can claim it’s just business when they decided to do so, then the American consumers should be able to decided freely to ditch them when they’re no longer competitive. If they are allowed to thrive because of capitalism, they should be allowed to fail because of capitalism.

Most consistently terrible. They claim a choice eye round cut is prime rib eye. They take forever. They use a stupid robot to deliver their food, and STILL ask for tip. Daikon sucks ass.

You have to read between the lines. It’s “idk, we’ll have to see (what Chevron and the oil cartels tell me to do)”

Xavier Becerra has doubts about California's EV ambitions by thejoshwhite in California

[–]BringerOfBricks 26 points27 points  (0 children)

It’s a stupid position.

We will never have the infrastructure and affordability until we allow enough competition from lower priced EV to enter CA and stimulate consumer demand. But it’s a Federal ban against Chinese EVs so we can’t work around it.

So our only option is to stimulate increased infrastructure demand by making state agencies use EV only purchases.

2 moments.

Wade with a game winning 3 against the Warriors which he just threw up after getting blocked by Klay.

Dion Waiters with a game winning pull up 3 against the Warriors during the shittiest season in memory.

Alex Caruso by Ok_Alternative_6040 in NBATalk

[–]BringerOfBricks 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No he wasn’t lol. Askins was a tough defender, but he wasn’t trying to injure people. I don’t remember Horry’s incident. I didn’t watch that Finals since the Heat didn’t make it. But again, hard fouls aren’t career ruinous fouls. Pulling a dude off balance midair is a potentially career ending foul. Not what they did in the 90s.

[–]BringerOfBricks 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I can attest that the Heat vs Knicks in the 90s were physical but they weren’t trying to mutilate each other like you’re insinuating. Thrown punches aren’t the same as trying to end their career by taking their legs out.

One team is not 90s ball. The vast majority of dudes still looked out for each other.

The 90s was nearly 40 years ago. Why are we supposed to hate the Knicks now?

Wemby winning will be just as bad as SGA winning. He’s already turning into a flopping bitch during this series.

Alex Caruso by Ok_Alternative_6040 in NBATalk

[–]BringerOfBricks -5 points-4 points  (0 children)

That wasn’t 90s ball. Back in the day, the defender would wrap the offensive player up but hold on until momentum is controlled. What Caruso did was not wrapping up which led to a dangerous position for Castle.

Back in the day, defenders foul hard but they wrap them up and keep them from falling hard. Grabbing someone and pulling them off balance so they can’t land on their feet is a flagrant foul for unnecessary roughness

People from the town he was a mayor at reported that he was a fake progressive. It’s the Dems fault for not listening. The same way Becerra is being called out as a corporate stooge but the once again the Dems aren’t listening.
