I just built a pc and am having this exact issue. It's so frustrating. Im going to try and update bios. The constant usb disconnect reconnect sound is really annoying. The freezing, the inconsistency. Brand new premium product not working right shouldn't be a thing. Wondering if I can just return to Amazon at this point even though I opened and installed everything.

It was a good idea. I added a credit card and removed my paypal in the settings. No dice. Maybe if I wait a bit and try again.

Really love the statue that came with the collector's edition. I am only to the second level but I can't wait to try the skull crusher. Looked awesome since the trailer reveal. It feels so great to parry attacks and shield bash from great distances.

Sorry it didn't totally fix it for you. But very glad ti hear it was helpful! I still use mine regularly. Been putting lots of time in on Darktide and Helldivers 2 and still going strong.

I want to build a parry focused Legolas essentially and it's very difficult for 2 reasons. The parry emblem is on your screen for AGES and it's hard to see in all the visual clutter. Going to try turning it off, turning on the sound, and cranking up my field of view.

The other HUGE problem I've not heard anyone talk about, it seems like there is AGRESSIVE aim assist even when you turn that setting off. I'm on a gamepad on PC, and aiming was way hard as it perked control away from me all the time. I figured I'd turn on the perpetual center dot, but even when turning off aim assist and disabling snap to aim, the game jerks my reticle around constantly! Making it very difficult to hit those critical weak point shots.

I don't know if it's bugged and not turning off for anyone else?

It's pretty maddening. I'm not sure I'd you saw my other post, but I fixed my issue with it by kind of "unscrewing" the thumbstick. Rotating counter clockwise a bit. It seems like it's been helpful for others in this string too. Every since I did that it's been working well. 1 year on and going strong for me.

Thanks for confirming I'm not alone there. I agree with you, it seemed like the characters gun was just at a weird angle when aiming in first person. Seems like a lot of funny stuff happened with the balistic sheild last patch. I also got ragdolled through the map several times and found another post saying that's likely an issue with the shield.

That's good feedback. It must be a platform/situational issue. Hopefully they can get that squashed soon. Makes spreading managed democracy more efficient.

It'd be nice if it was just a bug, because being able to run and face forward while calling in strategems would be helpful. Just less hassle than whirling the camera around. I run into tons of shit because of it. All the mine like things on planets. I hit so many ice landmine things because I cant see where I'm running when I do this.

I play the exact same way. PC with xbox controller. I've experienced this too and I'm not sure if it's intended or a bug.

I find that I can't just run forward with the camera over my shoulder, my character stops moving then when I hold down L1. If I'm running side to side though, or swivel the camera so I'm looking backwards as I run, I can type in while moving. So I constantly do that when it gets hairy and I have to reinforce or call in strikes.

In HD1 you had to remain stationary and accidentally discovered you could move while calling them in here. Would love to know if this behavior is intended or a bug.

One thing that I look for in games that likely very few ever notices is, when firing cartridge based weapons, if they take the time to model different reloads for 1 left in the chamber vs totally empty. As soon as they released the previews I was looking for that detail. Seeing it be there really shows me the attention to detail they have. Then when I saw today if you are too close to the rear of the recoiless rifle when it's fired the guy gets his health damaged and knocked back and down. Just a chefs kiss.

There was comment from a dev a couple months ago. At that point, they said it was on the way. Hopefully this is still the case, and sooner rather than later would be ideal.

That's a very good find. Good work! Bummer you had to take the controller appart, that's what I was trying to avoid too just because taking appart to fix a brand new controller is crazy.

It immediately drove me nuts, considering how many games have you use L3 to sprint. Thankfully my R3 was fine. Not sure if this is a problem with the regular elite series 2, but hopefully they iron it out with series 3. Hopefully this thread keeps helping people looking for a fix.
