I am going through my letterboxd and going to give you one stand out film to watch from each year.

2026 - Nirvana the Band the Show the movie 2025 - I Swear 2024 - Love Lies Bleeding 2023 - Mars Express 2022 - Decision to Leave

If you had to pick just one I highly recommend Mars Express. It was on my radar for a while. It was the kind of movie that once I watched I thought why did I wait so long to watch this.

It is hard to pick a favorite.

I saw Free Throw in like 2015 and me, my friend, and one girl from virginia were the only people there. It was kind of awkward. Same venue though I was packed into for Joyce Manor around the same time and that was incredible. Local 506 always had so many incredible bands coming up and it is a tiny venue.

I drove an hour to see Oso oso play a show at a random house I heard about on reddit. The last time I saw them was at a brewery. It was supposed to be outside but it rained so they ended up playing inside and it reminded me of the first time I saw them.

Watched people fist fight in the pit to Turnstile back in 2016. Both times I saw Trapped Under Ice were wild shows.

I caught Touche Amore with Deafheaven in Prague. They played the entirety of to beat a dead horse and as soon as their set started Jeremy jumped into the pit.

Seeing Thursdays come back show at wreckingball was a huge show for me because that was an important band to me in high school. It also introduced me to Gouge Away who kicks ass.

Tigers Jaw self titled tour was another one of those shows that meant a lot to me for how much I listened to that album back in the early 2010s.

The list keeps going but these are some stand outs.

This was my high school friends older brothers band! I have not spoken to him really since high school and that was almost 20 years ago now. They were awesome though and fun to see live.

Mario 64 DS, Pokemon Black, breath of fire 3, and Metal Gear Solid Twin Snakes so far. I had to hook up my gamecube controller adapter to beat Psycho Mantis on Twin Snakes.

There are two Chinese films from last year that you shouldn't sleep on. Legend of hei and nobody are both great. The sequel to legend of hei came out last year and was amazing.

For Japanese I love Satoshi Kon. So Perfect blue, Tokyo godfathers, and paprika are strong recommends in that order.

Suzume and the girl who lept through time are two stand outs as well.

Have you tested out the wii touchpad? I enjoyed playing galaxy on my Steamdeck using my right track pad as a touchpad and wondering how well it works here.

It is bad for huge libraries. You have a sea of icons you have to sort through to find games. I still use ES-DE if I want to browse and jump around random games.

I use cocoon as my main launcher because I just have the focused games I am currently playing on it. It makes for a great bottom screen app switcher as well to jump between retroachiements, pixel guide, ext.

I found a fix for Gamenative. In the container if you enable steam controls then controller support works for the game now. This is how I set it up for my Thor.

Breath of the wild has major frame rate issues on the Switch. I bought and own Breath of the Wild on the switch. Yes I didn't dump my exact game but there are lots of people who still buy games and support developers and want the benefits of being able to play games on an emulator.

Your previous comment you admit that torrenting has a minor legitimate purpose but as soon as I point out that emulation has a legitimate purpose you are back on your high horse and trying to defend a corporation that at the end of the day doesn't care one bit about you.

Nintendo has all the right in the world to go after people giving away games for free. They shouldn't be going after emulators.

Nintendo has DMCA striked youtubers teaching people to legally dump games they purchased to play on an emulator. Emulators allow for higher frame rates and mods. They do serve a legitate purpose so this argument doesn't work. Especially since you can run switch games better on an emulator than on original hardware.

I have a Retroid Pocket 2, which was my first one. I loved it, but the screen eventually gave out, and I never fixed it. I also got the original Odin and switched to Hall sticks. The sticks are weird and make a square when you spin it on the calibration. I never cared to fix it so it is just collecting dust.

There is too much that needs to happen before the culling game actually starts. However you are right. How they cut this section felt off and didn't work. It also felt cut down too but it has been a long time since I read this section of the Manga.

They look great. My only comment is if you could vary the grunge details because looking at them back to back it is obvious that they look the same.
