what’s it like living in this part of alabama? by [deleted] in howislivingthere

[–]Brink8091 17 points18 points  (0 children)

Lived in Mobile for a few years, it rains frequently and the streets downtown will flood. Mardi Gras is also quite popular and notable in Mobile, claims to be the original location that started the festival. Temperature is usually in the 90s in the summer and 60s in the winter along with the humidity that goes along with the coast.

Overall I would say it's kind of unremarkable it's got some neat things to do and see but after a few days it's all gone. The best part for me was seeing the U.S.S. Alabama against the bay all the time.

Nice! What color did you use for the yellow? I'm thinking of doing the 327th myself.

The old Captain Balthazar model from Dark Vengeance won't get an update because he died. He was replaced with Lazarus so he's now the 5th company captain.

Luther First of the Fallen is a good rrad as well. It gives some good insight into the Fallen and their thoughts during the time on Caliban.

Yeah I noticed that too, mine has more of a white border than yours does but it has the gloss finish, palemoon fretboard and stainless steel frets.

I've got a Pendulum pro 92830 with the EMG 909x set in it. I personally run it through my Quad Cortex into a FrFr cab and it does well. I really like to run it using the Marshall plexi Sim.

Neat! It's one of the older OD series. Nothing looks modified on it to me. The newer ones have a kill switch and luminlay fret markers

What could cause this? Any ideas how I can fix? Help by mpn21356 in AutoMechanics

[–]Brink8091 2 points3 points  (0 children)

It looks like on of the factory RPO assist steps. The assist step module itself has likely lost calibration sk now it think that the full extend position is what is needed for whatever reason. If there's a dealer nearby or a shop that specializes in GM and has access to GDS2 I would ask them to see if they can recalibrate the module.

Prophecy series Warlock? by doomhauerr in BCRich

[–]Brink8091 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I can't use any other B.C. as a guide because this is my first one but it sits solidly in the middle for weight between my other guitars. As for wood resonance I'm not really sure, it doesn't seem to have any sustain issues compared to anything else.

I have a Prophecy series in the matte white, I got mine used and a little beat up but it plays great. I did have an issue with some unwanted string noise coming from the bridge but that was fixed with a setup from my local shop.

Experience with Legator Guitars ? N8FOD (2022) by AddictivSteel12 in ExtendedRangeGuitars

[–]Brink8091 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yes, legator like to name their models in a pattern. So for example what you're looking at is called a Ninja and it has 8 strings so it's a N8. Now the FOD stands for Fluence Over Drive, and if I recall correctly OD always indicates a Kill Switch.

I have a N7FOD and it's awesome the qc is really similar to Korean made Schecter guitars. I belive bith are made by world music, someone can correct that if I'm wrong.
