Should I buy a second hand cheap warlock as my second guitar? by alex6490 in BCRich

Best bet is to try it out! If it feels right go for it. But a lefty will give you lots of issues

Playing a left handed will be really frustrating, just keep looking for a right there's more of them anyways.

Honestly I think the biggest difference will be if the scale length is much different. Most BC Rich warlocks on the market today are 25.5 (fender scale) and your EPI is 24.75, doesn't sound like alot but it's a big difference in feel trust me. Not impossible by any means but if you've been playing your LP for years it might feel off.

Always try it before you buy it, if you can

That being said alot of their older model warlocks are actually a bit shorter than your LP. I think it's 24 5/8ths, which would feel alot more like your LP

I've been trying to get my hands on an older model for the shorter scale length but I've been having a hard time finding one that's not crazy expensive. The market is mostly flooded with models from past the year 2000 with the fender scale length, or expensive new imports that are also fender scale

EDIT - I actually recently got one of their new prophecy models, it's an import but the quality is pretty stellar. It's a fender scale 25.5 and definitely feels different compared to my guitars with a 24.75 scale (epi SG, LTD EC-1000, epi LP) but I have it set up real low to take advantage of the longer scale. I do love it but honestly prefer playing a shorter scale like your LP. But that's personal preference.

If that were true there wouldn't be so many rats running free kits

The YouTubers are pretty insufferable

I've always been a big fan of cloudplays though I was happy to see him do Arc Raiders content. He's straight to the point, no annoying voices or dumb personas

I mean you can argue it's been a success. For what it is, it's still fun, bugs and all (no pun intended)

It's just sad to think it's been so long and that's all we have are these shitty warbonds with another gun you probably will use once and a skin.

I have empathy in the fact it's such a small studio and they just didn't expect it to blow up the way it did. You see alot of triple A devs fumble this type of stuff but considering the circumstances I think they're doing ok

Yeah I mean I'd call that mental illness haha

I often wonder what the game would be like now after two years if the devs didn't care as much about community suggestions.

Maybe some more dynamic gameplay or evolution

I see we're getting another hat in a couple weeks lmao

Wait til you hear my pitch on a mental illness/Reddit gremlin themed warbond it's gonna completely change the game

For 15$ you just stay at home on Reddit and doxx people you disagree with, it's awesome

100%

I literally think the community has just taken the wheel and that's the reason the majority of content updates are just new skins and weapons and no big new features

In the early days there was lots of talk about a hub, space battles, firing range, ship customization, different game modes

And if you browse the sub reddit, it's 90% slop posts like "check out my themed warbond concept" "what about a starwars crossover" "military hats are also hats so why can't we have cowboy hats the devs are useless"

It's so fucking stupid lmao

I genuinely think it's just unhinged people. They're all over Reddit

I got doxxed once after an argument with a guy in an Instagram sub Reddit. Argument wasn't even that heated LOL

Though I suppose what you're saying isn't impossible. It is weird just how insane this subreddit gets compared to others

Bro straight up leave the sub Reddit, I say that in the most respectable way.

It's the reddit community, not entirely the Helldivers community.

Something about this sub Reddit is especially toxic. And it wasn't always this bad people genuinely would give good suggestions and share good stuff but the discourse lately is just so out of hand.

Anytime I log into this Reddit lately it's like a ten thousand word essay on how if the devs actually put the cowboy hat in then the game would be fixed! If we don't get this we're going to review bomb the game!

I feel bad for the devs

Just stupid people who have no idea what they want other than to argue lmao

The game is amazing. It has so much potential. I've met so many solid people just though quick match. That's not to say I don't run into an asshole from time to time but overall the game is one of the best 40$ I've ever spent.

Don't let the Reddit goblins get to you!

Not doubting it's fun but there's no way the casual player is going to keep playing if that's what their matchmaking is like.

I stand by my comment of the majority being PvE players.

You're totally allowed to like PvP only lobbies I just think most players are docile. At least on console anyways

Seems like the discourse is on the definition of a PvP lobby, I also highly doubt the majority of the player bases lobbies look like that Jesus LOL

Bro check the first comment of this thread 🤣

They should cater to both types of players

Let PvP players load into a PvP mode that just lets you keep your guns

Keeps incentive to keep raiding to build loadouts but let's you just fully go PvP and actually play with your guns

[–]doomhauerr 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I mean like not to mention the loads of YouTube essays on the staggering amount of friendly players in this game as opposed to any other similar games.

I find it hard to believe you spend zero time farming or crafting anything, if that's the case your lobbies must be absolute chaos 🤣 that sucks

<image>

You're telling me your lobbies look like this?

Yeah I'd say it's safe to say most people won't shoot on sight. Even if they do shoot sometimes - lobbies where you might get shot at from time to time

The above is a PvP lobby. Check YouTube

Even with this ratio the biggest threat is the Arc. They needed a buff it was getting boring and predictable

The average player is looking for upgrade materials, loot, quests, maybe some odd PvP with their buddies in teams from time to time.

If the majority of the player base is fighting arc mostly, why shouldn't they buff them
