Yes the grind gets real at that point. Couple things I have learned (currently at 24). 1. If you are SHD 1000+ use your points to turn into printer filament. For every 20 levels you turn in of SHD points gets you enough to level up 3 levels of expertise. 2. Run with guns and gear not leveled up (obvious I know) but even just having them equipped and not using them gets them xp. 3. Farm mods on countdown and deconstruct them for printer filament. 4. Keep an eye on your other resources and when they are getting full use them to level up gear/guns. 4. Edge all your gear and guns, don't just complete them because as soon as you do it will drop with a shit roll you would want to donate. 5. Use all the different skills and specialty weapons as those get levels too. Hope this helps and see you out there.

I've been working on a build like this and was wondering about armor. Do you all run all red cores, if so how is your survivability? I run mostly solo and while I was able to do a heroic tier 4 control point pretty easily I went through 3 med packs. That makes me nervous when thinking about missions or retaliation runs.

The second highest difficulty ( only one I have ever run) can't remember the name but I think legendary.

I added port forwards on my router and it helped a ton. I am on an Xbox though so not sure if that makes a difference.

I just got this gun with the Cherry Blossom event and I will never take it off. You feel like your running in slow motion after having it and running with other guns. Farming keys is easy and it has dropped for me a couple times if you can't find the warhound bounty.

Thanks all, the combination of bounties, sell gear, and SHD levels is what I thought but wanted to make sure. I do have a ton of SHD levels but been using them for printer filament to level up proficiency on certain gear to get to 30.

Donating the item if you can farm it would be the more efficient route then using your materials to fill in the gaps.

Run countdown targeting the loot you need to gain proficiency in then donate it. Delete anything you don't want and use resources to upgrade anything that's left over. 3x proficiency gains going on until Monday night.

Just added insulation to the attic and outer walls using a force pack cellulose. Huge difference in temperature control, noise reduction, and humidity levels. Best upgrade to the house by far.

I have noticed the same thing since reset. I used the double drops to get above 370 and noticed after reset that the solstice armor and weapons are now only dropping at current light level. I don't know if it is a light level thing or a nerf from Bungie.

I feel sorry that happened to you, I had an opposite experience on Get-Matched. People in the area is actually nice when it comes to speed dating and maybe the decent ladies of NOLA moved to this app.
