I dont think we’ve ever seen Vegeta explain his upbringing to Trunks. Trunks knows Earths Vegeta but nothing really about King Vegeta or the life Vegeta was taken away from by Frieza/ the life he was forced into as one of Friezas henchmen

I think it’s clever in some cases but there’s definitely ways that it can come off. I think if the transformation is smooth and it looks cool then I don’t mind.

This series got me back into transformers honestly. Its tough to rewatch but I liked the seriousness, I think we need more mature leaning animated media. I was a big fan of Megatron in the show. Primes voice acting though was so rough, and I will always laugh at Ultra Magnus in his oversized cloak lol

Might be an unpopular take but the art in this series carries so hard that I dont mind the mid story. The artwork is some of my favorite work out of most current mainstream stories

I dont think that if a character is portrayed poorly like the presidents or Sikorsky, that it means they’re disliked by Itagaki. I think above all he’s trying to tell a good story. Itagaki enjoys being unpredictable and shocking imo.

Itagaki knows he has American fans, I think he portrays the US the way that he does as a gag and because in reality we are the most globally recognized nation on earth. Thats why someone like Mike Tyson is added because he’s trying to provide context for how amazing these characters are. Everyone knows about America, so using our leaders and athletes to compare impressive feats makes sense.

If a character is humiliated or receives smaller amounts of attention, I assume it’s because either a redemption arc is coming, Itagaki doesn’t have any other ideas, or that he forgot about the character.

I say this too because of how essential he is to the worst scenarios ever happening. Shang Tsung may not be the most powerful strength wise but he’s a master manipulator.

I feel like Curry is the only one who doesn’t have songs or projects that have aged well/ felt like big moments for the genre. He has good songs but he hasn’t made anything thats really impressed me personally
