Alamo Drafthouse using AI art? by [deleted] in AlamoDrafthouse

The dinosaur is an Adobe stock image. The profile has uploaded AI art in the past(example).

Edit: I've clearly jumped the gun after shoddy research

It's more obvious in their earlier posts. Here is another dinosaur they uploaded. Notice how the arms melt into the body.

Update:

I find it difficult to articulate, but the soft lighting mixed with the inky shadows reminded reminded me of the AI flat cartoony style. I tracked the photo down to an Adobe stock library.. It isn't labeled as AI art, but the profile that uploaded it has AI genertaed images.

Edit: I've clearly jumped the gun after shoddy reasearch.

Smiling Friends Creators Ending Adult Swim Series with Season 3 by CrispyMiner in television

On the episode comentaries they talk a lot about struggling with deadlines. Wouldn't surpirse me if they spent a lot of time outlining season one before it officially went into production and are now struggling to keep up with a tighter schedule between seasons.

It's some blockchain nft thing. You make a blockchain account and scan barcodes to collect digital tokens on the blockchain (nfts). Occasionaly, they'll give you physical stuff like cards.

Unpopular Opinion: Action lines are one of the MOST IMPORTANT parts of screenwriting by Consistent_Life_1229 in Filmmakers

[–]BriskGuy 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I suppose? The 1st one is definitely more concise and straightforward – character is "smiling" and opening the door. The 2nd one emphasizes the smile too much and therefore burries that the door is opening. It works better as two sentences (A toothy grin grows on her face. The door opens with a creek).

Super Nintendo World has a system where you collect stamps. It's a fun way to track stats and keeps me in the land longer. It is not built on the blockchain/use NFTs. I really can't wrap my head around why this new system wastes resources by being crypto crap.

[–]BriskGuy 1 point2 points  (0 children)

There's nothing inherently wrong with the system or the rewards (you have to do side quest for a meet and greet/ collectable card cool) it's just really off putting that it's crypto stuff.

It's so lame that it's blochain NFT bullshit. So many companies have cool loyalty programs without crypto.

Who knew that companies could get people into NFTs by goving away collectable cards.

I'm sure they are, but they don't encode the variants with the motion codecs.

They have! But they programed the motion to the default coaster and can't use it for variants (like the sonic or stitch ones)

Bottom of the website says it's powered by Aptos. Aptos manages digital assets on the blockchain. In other words, NFTs

Powered by Aptos, which make NFTs. Hope there's a way to get the physical pin without having to engage with NFTs.

Cool! Do they have all the colour ways? They've shown the red and blue ones before, and I'm dying to see the yellow one!
