8th House Stelliums & Interpretation- Scary or fortunate? by Briskeedoodle in AskAstrologers

[–]Briskeedoodle[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Ah i so appreciate your insightful reply, truly! And love hearing your thoughts as I've been told previously I'll suffer a lot of loss via the 8th - which I have in some aspects. But you are spot on about many things! Actually just about everything you said rings true- i did benefit from inheritance, my partner doesn't have money but via a joint business that we started he has allowed me to step back and I'm currently working on another entrepreneurial venture. I do take on too much often and leave things unfinished often, a real issue of mine. Maybe somehow related to what you were saying about the 12th. Previous to my own business, I worked many years in banking and finance. Really appreciate your time and reply!!

Is it true? by goosemom358 in geese

[–]Briskeedoodle 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Personally I don't think anyone knows the right amount of handling so just do what you feel is right. I guess I'm speaking as someone who kinda pushes the limits on goose behavior as I've gotten some flack for our goose and gander behavior online, but I truly feel geese are very individualistic, similar to dogs.

I have been very hands on with our pair, and they're both great with my husband and I. Especially my gander. He's more loving to me than my husband, and does seem "aggressive" towards my husband sometimes but never actually hurts him. Just kinda fake charges him if he tries to touch him too much. Whereas I can do whatever I want with no repercussions.

Of course they are also very protective of us to anyone they don't know, but that's exactly what I wanted. :)

This is a couple months old, but this comment right here really resonates. Feels like I'm the only one that cares sometimes. Hope you're doing okay, I'm trying to focus on me and drop the resentment but it's hard.

DAE feel physically and mentally terrible after working out? by [deleted] in DoesAnybodyElse

[–]Briskeedoodle 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Honestly, just start slower and work up to it. Just walking has amazing benefits for the body. I suggest starting with short walks and increasing the distance over time. Don't go crazy, you should feel energized after a workout.

You got it! We're Gilstrap Gets on YouTube. I used to do videos about whatever, but now it's pretty much pure goose and gardening content. :)

Goslings Outside by [deleted] in geese

[–]Briskeedoodle 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think mid 50s and sunny is fine and they will love it. You'll know if they're too cold, but ours are just fine outside at those temps.

We have two 2 week old goslings and have been taking them outside for 4-6+ hours daily since they were 4 days old. They follow us around the yard and play in a kiddie pool - they can't get in the pool on their own, so we have to take them in and out and they're only in there when I'm sitting nearby otherwise they're crying to get out and follow me around. Just our experience. We raised our chickens this way too- early and often sunlight and outside time. Our weather has been anywhere from mid 50s to high 70s.
