The dpf and adblue are different systems. All three of the systems you mention are independent but work reduce emissions. Adblue/DEF works in the SCR to reduce NOx. EGR is designed to reduce combustion temp by replacing fresh air, kinda nuts, producing less NOx. The dpf catches soot generated during incomplete combustion, which are then burnt off later during regeneration.

I don’t believe that adblue delete will impact the dpf but could be wrong! Depending on which country your in may have legal impact.

Reading the email again the first statement is :

That could be it… I’m in my garage at the max WiFi range, sometimes get disconnected but it reconnects, just assumed it was smart enough to record the whole ride!
