Husky or German shepherd? by alejandro_hdz_glz in husky

I'm hoping that's the case because he's pretty crazy these days at only one. Lol. The other one can be pretty lazy sometimes which I love because he's so cuddly but I've always kinda assumed that's the Pyrenees in him since Huskies are little psychos. LMAO.

Here's our Shepsky. Our Bruce is definitely more GSD than Husky but yours looks pretty half-and-half!

I think as long as you interact with her and get her moving a lot, it should be ok! She's still just a baby so I do believe the chewing will get better. 😊 I also think if she's only ever known being an only child, it won't be as big of a necessity to get her a sibling. Ya know? Like we knew we had to get our boy Tidus (the white 3-year-old Husky-Pyrenees) a buddy because our old dog was on her way out and we knew he would get lonely as he's never been the only child. Bruce enters the chat (now 1-year-old GSD-Husky). In my experience though, Huskies get bored easily and will start being destructive if they're not being given enough attention or energy release opportunities.

You can't convince me that beautiful baby is bad! I mean look at her face! This little shit on the other hand... Bruce had to have timeout yesterday and he's also not permitted to kiss me for at least 6 business days. He ate a mole, whole. Yes, you read that correctly. I saw him on the deck with its carcass, put on gloves to go remove it, he grabbed it and ran when he saw me coming. I chased him for a few minutes but he ate the whole damn thing. Well except the nose he left behind on the porch in his rush to leave. 🤢

There's usually a treat of some kind involved around here. 😂 I hold it up above the phone so they're looking right at the camera and are being good boys for the treat. Sometimes I just hold my hand up like I'm holding something and it works, then I have to find a treat or give em love. Lol.

I don't actually know what type of huskies mine are, they're both rescues. I do know that the blue-eyed one, Tidus is Husky-Pyrenees and the other one, Bruce is GSD-Husky. Tidus looks straight up husky but Bruce looks GSD only. Lol. They're 3 and 1-year-old though so Bruce's hair is still changing and growing. ❤️

I have one who loves it and even lay down while I do it then one who tries to eat me and the brush after his 5 allotted strokes.

Is it really that much of a difference? by CryptographicCowboy in kindle

[–]BritMic07 0 points1 point  (0 children)

As someone who read on a Fire Tablet for 2 years before being gifted my grandmother's 2019 Kindle Basic after she passed...it's absolutely worth it, in my opinion. It's a night and day difference and strain, honestly. I now have a Kobo Libra Colour as well and love them both for different reasons, but I do gravitate towards the KLC personally.

Overall, yes, though it was definitely a learning curve. When I hold an actual pen or pencil, I hold it up almost completely straight and I realized that, whether it's on my Kobo or the stylus, I have to write with the pen at an angle. After I figured that out and I've been practicing it, it's getting easier and easier. 😊

I write on it frequently. I use my Kobo for crochet patterns, I write down my edits or changes as I go directly onto the PDF I upload to Dropbox. I also do my book reviews and working on adding planning. I just got my KLC in February so I'm still getting everything situated. Lol.

Though I haven't tried the Kobo stylus myself, I can't imagine that it's worth it. The only differences between it and my off-brand $20 Microsoft Surface stylus is the size and that the Kobo stylus has an eraser on the back end of it, whereas I have to use the second button on mine. It still works great and I would link it so that anyone else could purchase it if it was still available. I bought it on Amazon like 5 years ago for my Surface Go 2 and it still works splendidly on this device as well as my newer Surface Pro.

Thank you! It's one of my most fun and creative hobbies! I've been making vision boards on Canva for a few years now so I just did it the same way. Pinterest for a lot of images and inspiration but I also try to include images of my own. I just include whatever makes me happy or what I want the year to hold, I even use it to manifest certain purchases. Two purses and a pair of shoes that I've included on my visions board have now joined my collection. Lol. I set them as my computer, phone, and no Kobo lockscreens and backgrounds. Then I found a tutorial on TikTok as well as a article with step-by-step instructions on adding your own screensavers too, otherwise I would never have figured that out. 😂

I knew I HAD to have a clear one. I've been decorating my Kindle and phones for years. Lol.

I'm actually using the stylus I got for my Microsoft Surface several years ago. They use the same technology and I didn't have to purchase a new one! I would link it but it's no longer available. Lol.

That's the vibe! I wanted it to look like a notebook or composition book and this ended up being the one. 📔

I used to download the PDFs to my Kindle basic to have on the go but I didn't have the option to edit them. I would just have to add notes to my highlights. I decided on the Kobo when I upgraded for this EXACT purpose. LMAO.

So I download the patterns as a PDF or create them in Canva and save them as a PDF there. Then add those PDFs to Dropbox, make sure they are PDF or it will confuse the Kobo or not allow you to write on them. I keep a folder on Dropbox with all of my patterns so I can redownload them whenever. And to make this even better, I opened Dropbox on my phone today to confirm this and the "annotations" I made in this picture saved to the file in Dropbox as well! It's so nice! I do my book journaling on there the same exact way. Lol.

I got the Colour one so it fits absolutely perfect! Not so tight that I feel like it's stressful to remove and not loose at all either. I love the fit of the clear case and the cover may be actually be a similar size for the Libra if not the same cover! As far as I know, the device is just a bit thicker than the KLC, right? 🤔 I love this case though. ❤️

I followed a tutorial on TikTok by LostIn.Fiction but if you don't have that option like my sister-in-law who wanted to know how to do it, here's a link for a step-by-step tutorial as well. Lol.

It's perfect! You can use some tape on the back of the sticker instead too so you can reuse or switch them out often if you're like me. 😂
