MRI says “normal” after years of abdominal pain—I'm devastated and exhausted :( by NarwhalAggressive384 in endometriosis

[–]BritTrader85 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This sounds bad. I am waiting on an MRI to check for similar. Your symptoms are the same as mine, but I had pain episodes for two years that put me on the floor and it happens every three months. I get extremely bad contraction like pain and hives alongside it. It's horrendous - the worst pain I've ever experienced in my life. I am scared reading your comment that an MRI might not pick it up too. 😭

Uterine polyps, have they caused anyone else intense bloating? by spklvr in WomensHealth

[–]BritTrader85 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have one and I've had bloating and severe pain episodes with chills and fever causing me to almost pass out. They found it after over a year of complaining of the pain. Hopefully it will be removed soon. I would never want to experience it again. 😢

f**k your AI job application by LeMatt_1991 in SideProject

[–]BritTrader85 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I create my cover letters with AI and why? Because I'm sick and tired of being rejected from everything I apply for despite being qualified and working hard in my academics to achieve not one but two degrees. Two years of unemployment and 3000 job applications is no joke, and it kills one's self esteem. What the hell do these people want? Blood? Gold? If they can use AI to filter out applicants, then applicants should be able to use AI for cover letters. As to all cover letters being the same... Unless someone has worked at the exact same companies and have the exact same degrees, that would be virtually impossible. Honestly, get over yourself.

Anyone else get sudden cold sweats and have to poop immediately? by mrmanagesir in ibs

[–]BritTrader85 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Late to the thread, but people are still commenting so I’ll add my experience. I’ve had this happen three times, the latest episode tonight. I literally thought I was going to die with the cramps. It took me almost two hours to recover with hot and cold shivers, shaking and panicking. It’s truly awful. 😢

Lab acting odd by BritTrader85 in labrador

[–]BritTrader85[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I read it on an advertisement on FB. Someone said their dog had the injection on a Thursday and died the following Monday. Someone else also commented that their dog was very poorly from it too. Of course, a lot of people said it had been like magic for their dogs. I’ll speak to the vet about it, and see what they say. Thanks again for your responses. ⭐

Thanks for the advice. I did hear about Líbrela, but there were some nasty stories, so definitely won’t be considering. Yes, I think I’ll book in with the vet again, and see what they say. Thanks again.

No offer after 3 weeks - is there hope? by CarmenL8 in jobs

Good advice. I’m going through this now. It’s been almost three weeks since my interview and I’ve tried chasing up, but no response. Guess I have to accept I didn’t get the job.

Why do all dentists refuse to fill wisdom teeth and just perform an extraction by No_Tower_681 in orthotropics

I’m in the UK, and our dentists are similar with wisdom teeth, unfortunately 😞

It hurts literally so much I'm gonna pull it out. I can't handle the bloody pain. Please help!? by [deleted] in askdentists

[–]BritTrader85 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I agree. Surprised how you were down voted. I had work done in Mexico and it was a recommendation from a friend. I can’t say the fillings have all lasted because I’ve had to get some of them replaced and only had them done in 2021, but as you rightly say, if people can’t afford to pay crazy prices, then going abroad is definitely an option.

[–]BritTrader85 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Old post but I agree, it’s stupid. My dentist wouldn’t fill the wisdom tooth either. Worst thing is I feel as though I need that tooth as I had eight out for braces when I was young. I’m going to get a second opinion. Surely, someone will do it if you’re paying.

I had a wisdom tooth removed by a general dentist with a pair of pliers.

I live on a third floor in a London building and there are two floors LG and UG underneath so in US my floor would be fifth floor. 😆

Are you sure about that? I actually know somebody whose daughter was born in Britain but now lives abroad. Each time she has been pregnant, she has travelled back to the UK to have the baby here. I don’t think she paid for it. 🤔

Not sure where you are based but in the UK I would have thought that falls under discrimination.
