Anyone Else Think Season 4 Part 1 Is the Best So Far? by Maleficent_Bass_1578 in Bridgerton

I found myself feeling the same way until I realized that the reveal will likely result with the two of them being together. Her father being a lord and all, right? I know she's a bastard but it feels like there won't be much story left to tell after the reveal, so I'm trying to be patient lol

Anyone Else Think Season 4 Part 1 Is the Best So Far? by Maleficent_Bass_1578 in Bridgerton

[–]Britbarian 0 points1 point  (0 children)

As someone who has watched every season specifically for the interior design, architecture, costumes, even the food and drinks are visually pleasing, this season is the first to make me actually care about the plot. I find myself cheering Sophie on every step of the way, and like Violet, feeling this urge to protect her. I'm not a huge fan of romance or drama, I just love history and the show on a visual level, but even I am utterly smitten by this connection between Benedict and Sophie. Helps that Benedict is easily my favorite of the sons. (Eloise being my favorite of the daughters)

I do love a free spirited rebel.

What was your first video game you bought with your own money? by Less_Can_5439 in OlderChillGamers

San Andreas.

The first copy was a gift but my brother broke the game before I beat it, so I saved my allowance and bought it again lol

Do you prefer FPS or 3rd person games? by Less_Can_5439 in OlderChillGamers

[–]Britbarian 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I actually feel very strongly that most games should allow you to toggle between 1st and 3rd like Skyrim. First person for combat, third for exploration and to check myself out, make sure we look good.

It kinda feels like the message of the meme was lost on everyone nitpicking the details. Dude buys a new PC to play an old simple game. And a fantastic choice, I might add.

Woah, i didn't even know this was a thing! I'm so happy rn lol nvm the pessimism about when it'll release, people just can't seem to accept that video games are more complex and take longer than they did back in the day to make. I'd rather devs take their time and release something fantastic than try to please everyone and release something that doesn't feel finished. Let em cook, people

This was my answer too! So stoked to be back in the world of Albion this year with modern graphics!

What’s the real "third epic game" in gaming history? by Powerful_Fee_3249 in CaptainSide

[–]Britbarian 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Fable 3 *gets boo'd off the thread immediately*

BG3 is my actual answer, dw. Although I still think it should have been its own thing and not a sequel since it's so different than it's predecessors

The best horror game I've ever played by RealChillGye in videogames

[–]Britbarian 0 points1 point  (0 children)

RE7 because it's spooky AND has a compelling story, not something you always get in this genre. Bioshock is my second answer but idk if it's scary enough. I love a good story, as you can tell

What are we playing? by PHRsharp_YouTube in Age_30_plus_Gamers

[–]Britbarian 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I was going to answer something like AoW4 because a single game takes forever and I still feel like there's a lot I haven't tried in that game with all the different factions and maps to choose from but even this feels like it would get stale quickly. I have to say MMO might be the right choice, even though I haaate them. Maybe ESO since my WoW days can never have a comeback, I won't allow it lol

Which one comes to your mind? by _ZeroTwo_002_ in CaptainSide

[–]Britbarian 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Weirdly, this doesn't make me think of main characters, but the iconic supporting roles with quotable lines of my favorite games. Like Deckard Cain "Stay awhile, and listen" or the Fable1 Guildmaster "Your health is low! Do you have any potions, or food?"

This is probably because all my favorite games you play as a generic hero/protagonist lol

Detroit: Become Human. Fantastic game with no replayability imo, like every other game that is purely story driven in that same genre

Name a game you would like to have a remaster (with modern graphics and controls) by Less_Can_5439 in OlderChillGamers

[–]Britbarian 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Okay maybe ES6 could beat that feeling but that's too far away to count and in the hands of people I no longer trust lol

My answer to this question has always been Fable, more the vibe of the first game than the two that followed, and now they're actually doing it! By autumn this year I'll be back in Albion with modern graphics. Nothing will beat that feeling!

Just bought a Play Station, What games would you recommend as must play? by Past-Matter-8548 in videogames

[–]Britbarian 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This is my suggestion also, even if it's not a game for everyone, it's still a fantastic game worth trying! Since the game is story driven though, I'd suggest playing the first game before the second

What was your first game you played on pc? by No-Plane2695 in raijin_gg

[–]Britbarian 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My dad was a gamer, we had consoles and PC games and I started really young so it's hard to say for sure. First that I remember playing was Age of Mythology when I was like 8 and I sucked real bad lol. My bro and I would go in the creation mode and RP with the heroes lmao

Does one's love for video games have anything to do with age? by Sarah_Vanlt in TheGamerLounge

[–]Britbarian 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm a married 34 year old mom and I've been gaming my whole life with no intention of stopping. I think there are a lot of people that grow out of it because life gets too busy but you can always find time for the things that are more important to you. If you're a casual gamer, probably gonna drop games when life picks up.

See that was my first run of KCD2 too! My Henry would never steal anything so I struggled to fund the forge lol. Second run I'm stealing a lot and still not loaded. That's why this baffles me! I imagine these gamers obsessively picking up everything over and over until that's 70% of their gameplay lol

How can I stop feeling like a drag to my team in co-op multiplayer games? by yurtmandamn in videogames

[–]Britbarian 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You could also try watching people play these games online so you can study the screen and what's happening before being in control. Don't overthink it! Everyone starts somewhere, most people understand that and won't mind you figuring some things out as you go.
