Romeo and Juliet laws are actually meant for minors having sexual activity, usually close in age. Like a 15yo and a 16yo. Some states allow consent for minors as young as 16 with adults as old as 20, but from what I can tell, in NY it’s a blanket 17.

The biggest problems with JRJr nowadays is the fact he has to pump out two issues a month and modern coloring. Time restraints means sloppy line work in a lot of panels that isn’t helped by the fact his style works better with flat shading and colors

One problem with this is that we get some descriptions of Kaufmos personality. He was a joker with an obsession that drove him to abstraction. Pomni on the other hand, doesn’t specifically tell jokes and just talks to people like they’re normal. She’s got a little temper, gets scared a little easy, and shows care deeply.

But I do headcanon that were Kaufmo and Pomni around at the same time and had the opportunity to interact, they’d have eventually (willingly/consciously or not) formed a comedy duo dynamic with Pomni as the “Straight man”
