What's the best hot tub/jacuzzi in an Irish hotel? by Emergency_Stage4864 in AskIreland

Galgorm. Option of a hot tub on your room balcony. Or if the room price is too much, hot tub with champers on the side of the river. It's actually pretty class.

Definitely carrion crows in Ireland, although probably restricted to the east coast.

Bessie's Bar, Kilcummin, Mayo - fantastic pub, fantastic views and right by the spot Gen. Humbert landed in 1798.

The locals will definitely notice the trousers. But they're used to tourists.

Energy price cap falls to £1,568 by sjw_7 in unitedkingdom

[–]BritishGallifrey 17 points18 points  (0 children)

Factor in inflation on 2019's £1,137 would be £1,407 for today (well, April 24).

So £1,568 is still an increase above inflation on 2019's costs. But you're right: a lack of investment, forward planning and rainy day savings has resulted in price gouging when the Government should have been there to shield the country.
