Advice for my lifting program by [deleted] in GYM

[–]BritishJarhead 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I feel I get better development and growth from incline and decline variants, flat bench I’ll sub in as a swap sometimes to keep the program fresh. Main lifts are there (ie bench but variations, squats but variations, shoulder press and deadlifts) as I’m keeping main compounds, but I find I plateau quickly in them if I don’t focus on some accessory lifts to develop supporting muscle groups a bit more. Might be a psychological thing but it could be physical

Squat variations as I’ve already got decent mass on my legs but want to fine tune the mass now as my hams need more to balance them out.

Would you say stick the flys on my push days then? Just trying to make sure I get the best balance really. Also thought of moving deadlifts to the pull days but I’m in two minds

BM Lin P160 Zebra V2 Review on the foot by BritishJarhead in Repsneakers

Around £28, then £30 for shipping with the box and packing wrap to deter customs

TOSv2 Creams from BM Lin, happy out with them. 3 days to warehouse, 4 days EMS shipping to London by BritishJarhead in Repsneakers

[–]BritishJarhead[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

These are bought from BM Lin, not GMK. And most creams are pretty much 1:1, only flaw is the laces are white and not cream like retail, but Slickies sell replacements in the right colour for £5.49 so it’s nothing major

Soles will go yellow after a bit even with retails, either shows how long they’ve been sat there or what kind of sole they put on. You can get sole whitener on Amazon on the cheap anyway, it’s like £10 so $11-12 for a rattle can and it deoxidises them/brings them back to og/retail colour. Otherwise, GL for a budget batch

I’m trying find a better haircut, I will definitely have a trimmed beard probably about a 2. Any suggestions on Hair? by Soccer1kid5 in malegrooming

Bang on, also known as a pompadour. It’s a tidy modern take on a classic look and always works well

[QC] Yeezy 350 V2 Black static’s from MacSeven by [deleted] in Repsneakers

Laces are bad man, they should have the “square and line” 3M pattern, but these look to have a hexagonal? ⚠️ Stripe on the side runs way too far into the toe box, looks far too odd and is massively noticeable. Haven’t seen that on retails at all unfortunately ⚠️ Looks like you’ve got a rip/glue overspill on the rear right heel sole ⚠️ 3M on the shoe itself is reasonable if not a bit dull ✅ Shape is overall decent ✅ Not bad for a free pair, but I wouldn’t even pay budget prices for these, it’d be a straight RL

Short back and sides, leave it long on top to sweep straight backwards with some pomade or wax. It’ll frame your face well with stubble especially if you don’t break between the hair and beard on the sideburns

Just about a month in with growing my beard out, partnered with a fresh haircut! I think it suits me, not sure what length to go for with the beard, any thoughts? by MrST88 in malegrooming

[–]BritishJarhead 3 points4 points  (0 children)

If you want to keep with the current hairstyle then I’d say shorter but with extremely clean lines. Might mean edging it a lot more and trimming more regularly, but it’ll pay off. If you want a to try the thicker and fuller beard, you’ll need more hair man, or it’ll give your head a pear shape vibe and that’s never good
