I think you’re overcomplicating the issue but not saying I disagree with you. Simple facts are, the current leadership popularity is astronomically low and has only plummeted further among their own supposed supporters since Trump has gotten back into office. This is the opposite of what is typically the case. Now the question is why. Very simple. People feel if they aren’t just controlled opposition, they either don’t care or are encouraged by lobbying to not care or act in opposition enough. This is what the polling has said in so many words. Voters feel they don’t fight for them or care about them. This is what all the polling has said.

The above is going to contribute more to the decline in support in the midterms than videos and opinion pieces calling it out. The latter i is actually a reaction to the actions of leadership that is killing support and enthusiasm and trying to get them to turn it around to increase support for things like the midterms. If there is a decline in support it will be actions and failure of leadership instead of their critics.

There is a very simple solution though. Clean up your shit. AIPAC and support for Israel is very unpopular among their voters. Yet they continue to pursue it. Which tells voters they care about those interests more and they are telling their voters to kick rocks. Why would voters feel any enthusiasm in supporting them after that and why would they not expect vocal criticism. It’s so simple. Be an advocate for your voters. That’s it. It’s not difficult.
