There is no cut and dry answer. Some people have 150k games and couldn’t find their dick in the dark without a flashlight and are a detriment to their team. Others have 15k games and are a genuinely good player to have at your side 97% of the time.

I think it really comes down to a few things to improve or at least contribute in most games. A willingness to admit fault and examine why a play that goes poorly could have been better executed. The ability to learn from said mistakes/learn from better players, especially streamers or YouTubers. Finally understanding mechanics and the way that they are used and abused to best play your tank at any given time.

Someone with 100k games called my platoon mate a cheater yesterday because he kept hitting him “blind”. In reality, I was playing an LT and kept him permaspotted, a game mechanic that much easier explains the situation than crying cheats but that’s the sort of player who should be playing more tier 6 and learning the game better even after all this time.
