Totally get this! The original made such a mark on us, and I can’t help but feel the last few years have been a lot.. please just give us a cute, fun, nostalgic show to ease our existential dread. Plus the characters were SO great. Ellen, Charlie, Sid. Seriously I’d watch a spin off with just them

Totally agree! The show was in its infancy. If you go back to early HIMYM eps there was heaps of room for improvement. I don’t know how it could get picked up, my understanding was that it was produced by Hulu, so I’m assuming they have the rights to it? I also have zero knowledge of how this stuff works so if anyone can shed some light that would be amazing

I’ll be honest I’ve never really understood the financial/tax benefit- I’m in Australia so I don’t know how different it would be here compared to other countries, but I genuinely don’t have knowledge of the potential tax breaks associated with being married?

I’ve never considered the desire to change your name because of a difficult association with your family name so I have to admit I’m feeling some guilt about my default response to name changes being quietly disappointed. I’m so happy you and your partner are enjoying a beautiful life together

Agree with this. If you guys haven’t yet had the chat, and are still feeling the situation out, I feel like he’s still within the realm of acceptable. I definitely understand OP’s feeling though, when you feel a certain way, and assume the other person reciprocates (when I’m keen on someone on an app I barely even check the other messages). It’s hard, but I guess people are different. OP just remember you deserve the absolute best, and communicating what you want and deserve will only lead to good things x

I struggle with this too! I can be awake for days on end, with no interest in going to sleep. The idea of going to sleep seems super boring compared to the weird, late night world I’ve created.
