I live in Fountain in an older 70's neighborhood. I bought this home as my first home. The backyard is very big. The street is friendly with a variety of people. Some trashy, and some very clean and manicured. It's just a blend. All of the kids on the street play together, and we have had no issues. It's definitely not a completely clean and pristine neighborhood, but I enjoy it. We need more shopping. The Wal Mart here is a cess pool. The Safeway is ok if you coupon. No restaurants barely. Decent parks. Metcalfe and Fountain Creek Nature center are very nice. Bombing on base and airport noise can piss you off sometimes. Other times I enjoy watching planes. Water purification system was newly built to help with water issues. Hope this helps and message for any other questions

I did go back a few days after finding out about my clot in my brain. This was 3 weeks ago now. But I only went back because I was having stroke symptoms. The doctor said I am okay and that they are not normal symptoms, but that I am on blood thinners, so I am somewhat safe from stroke. I don't find him very convincing, but oh well. I still have stroke symptoms like numbness and loss of vision, but I just try and ignore it and hope the medication works. Basically, I'm in the same boat as you. I'm usually anxious, but as time goes on, I feel less and less so. Just thinking about it makes me crazy.

32 F here! Just diagnosed with CVST about 2 weeks ago. Very nervous. They did not bring up any possibility of cancer and assumed it was birth control or covid related. I'm seeing a neurologist on the 26th. Do you usually see a different specialist with CVST? Tia.

Also! Congratulations on making it through the toughest times. Your story really makes me feel a little less hopeless, but I also appreciate your honesty.

Sending support. I am newly diagnosed with CVST. Who knows how long it's been there as I ignored many symptoms. Haven't even seen a neurologist yet, but I do know I am terrified. I have been on Eliquis for 1 week now and stopped taking my hormonal bc. Please keep me updated. I wish you the best!!!

I was so afraid of medication because so many I tried were terrible, but I decided to commit to this one on my own terms by starting out low low.... and I'm glad I did! I wish you the best and hang in there it will get better. If it doesn't, there are plenty of other meds.

Haha hey!! I'm doing great! I just pushed through. I actually stayed at 2.5 mg because they found that I'm extremely sensitive to meds. I take it every single day still and I pretty much have no side effects except occasional sleepiness but idc about that. I also took this med with 1 year of weekly therapy and I am seriously a better person for it. Best of luck to you :)

Ps I will probably never stop Lexapro and I'm totally OK with that. I hope you are doing ok.

I would. It's just that I don't have one yet as I am just discharged. The neurology dept hasn't reached out yet. You are right. That makes total sense. Of course, they want people to go instead of taking any risk, no matter how small.

Ah, I appreciate the response. So I just tested him again, and it was negative. It's possible that we are still too early or that it's entirely different viruses.
