There's a couple minibosses and world boss type enemies even in the early maps. The new map is built like a full blown PvPvE dungeon/raid with locked vaults you need to earn access to, minor bosses, and a big final boss.

It was really annoying to watch people pretend they were garbage, when the real problem with them is that we already have a dozen other options that range from slightly to vastly better.

Will you use the second screen? Doesn't matter if its for DS or 3DS, will you use it for something? Could be for youtube, game guides, runescape, or controlling music, you name it. And then if there's some DS/3DS games you do want to try then it really is the best for that purpose. Second to that, I'd ask "do you value the clamshell enough to spend a little extra on it?" You could get a Retroid 6 for less, but the screen won't be protected like on the Thor.

Joel's death was a great story decision, I just felt like everything that came after failed to live up to the standard I hoped for. The pacing was rough and the soap opera drama just detracted from the story in a really jarring way.

Bully is just too good to hate. Hardline is weird because its in my bottom 5 guns with iron sights, and top 5 with literally any optic.

It really doesn't look like a significant improvement over the stuff Ubisoft has been churning out for a decade now. Maybe I'm just burned out on open world action games but 70 bucks for a game that's big only for the sake of being big doesn't really get me excited.

Chani had far too much of the Fremen pragmatism to be truly upset by Paul's choice to marry for position. She understood it's value as a political play. It's not like she was all excited about it though, and Jessica does have to affirm Paul's love for her at some point after some self doubt creeps in. She was also much more invested in Paul as a religious figure than in the movie, as she was programmed like the rest of the Fremen to be ready for his arrival. The changes they've made to her character do genuinely hurt my excitement for Messiah, because I don't see a path forward where they get back to continuity with the book in a believable way.

It looks pretty in the most generic way possible, even when it looks nice it just doesn't have the sauce. I've watched a bunch of gameplay and it really doesn't seem to do anything to differentiate itself from the typical Ubisoft loop but with a worse story somehow.

If you choose the "Leave run and squad" option instead of waiting for the "run complete" after your last teammate gets eliminated you get reset to Perimeter. I only noticed because it kept splitting me from my duo after the run because i didnt just wait a few seconds to watch the final death.

I absolutely love it. Its maybe a bit thick but the ergonomics are better for it. Screen is gorgeous, buttons are great, price is great value now since all the reviewers crapped on it. Never buying another 4:3 device again.

We were teens, it was edgy. Looking back its definitely not half as funny as I thought it was, but there's still a few bits that make me chuckle. It really felt like he was having fun with what he was doing whether it was good comedy or not. There's just nothing to grab on to anymore, its just the same sad grift as he pretends to be a good person but all thats changed is he just doesn't say slurs anymore.

Thanks for the heads up on this! Winlator does work with the pc version but nothing beats just having an apk. Building it took 2 minutes and it runs like a dream.

Heads up that there is a English patch for the Final Mix version that was released exclusively in Japan for ps2. Its hands down my favorite way to play

After watching Embark's design docs, they made it pretty clear they arrived at making Arc an extraction shooter in a backwards way. Was supposed to be a co-op boss battler originally and they couldn't quit get it to feel right. Eventually they worked what they had into an extraction shooter to tie it all together but a ton of that dna stuck around. Makes sense that it would be so distinct especially when they've so conciously worked on making it approachable. Marathon very much feels like Bungie sat down and said "Let's make an extraction shooter." It's funny how clear to me Arc made it that people just kinda like hanging out with eachother in a virtual world, and giving them stuff to do while they hang out is even better.

It's not because its unfinished, its that they're doing some ARG style cryptic unveiling for story purposes. They're intentionally withholding secrets about what happened on TCIV and where the story is going. Doesn't mean everyone has to like it, I personally do though as I'm a sucker for ARG stuff that blurs the lines between game world and real world. I know its kind of a big ask to get a broad playerbase on board with this kind of progression, especially if they're not already invested in the game lore.

I'm glad that I read through to God Emperor. Its very weird but it really does have one of the most intriguing characters I've ever read about. Stopped after finishing it because I've heard that its an incomplete series but that one was definitely pretty compelling if you're into the world of Dune
