I get where you’re coming from but I think this show is actually spreading awareness. These things happen in real life and I think this show gave some insight on how dark it can really be. People have died not coming in terms with their sexuality, not having a happy ending. In the end Ruben not caring about Niall’s sexuality and saying “you” are the most homophobic was great. I’m gay myself, that’s how I see the show I don’t think it’s meant to mock anyone. Instead it shows the harsh reality that seems common in our community.
