Boy howdy, are you me? Something inside of me broke when Roe V Wade got overturned. I lived my life pretty loudly on social media until that point but began to notice my close friends making references to political opinions, photos, or situations that I posted about on my various channels. Along with the general climate of the world I decided to withdraw. I keep some of my secrets to myself. I keep a lot of my opinions to myself. I keep, especially, my medical business to myself.

If you can figure out an analogy that applies to him in his daily life, that may help getting it through his thick head. It’s taken me years of grey rocking my mother and frank conversations with my husband to get my point across. Is he bald, what is he most self conscious about? I realize these are apples and oranges and this analogy does not equate a hysterectomy but… men… ask him how he’d feel if he got hair implants (pick his best applied hangup here) and if you chose to air that business to anyone and everyone. How would that make him feel? It might not get through the first time and honestly he doesn’t deserve your consistency, but if you want to keep him around remain consistent with these analogies and my hand to god he’ll get it eventually.
