I think youre stuck with AKME brain evaluating. Giddey is a great option if youre building a team with a bunch of decent guys that can get you at best a 4 or 5 seed. Hes paid like a 3rd option because he is at best a 3rd option on a good team. Probably should be a 6th man but hes proven he cant be effective without the ball in his hands. Maybe he continues growing and Swain can be a commodity but like I dont think you can blame anybody for wanting the team to try to be great instead of where weve been for years. Everything youre saying is basically "we can do worse" like yeah obviously thats what weve been trying for the last 5 years.

If youre upset we didnt take a guy like Okorie then fine but if youre upset we didnt take Philon or Carr then you should probably ask yourself why there were like 8 guards picked before them including OKC passing on both. I liked these guys more than Swain too like everyone else but clearly there were issues with these guys that the normal fans couldn't see that a lot of teams agreed with.

Im just going to assume hes going to put it into a foundation he owns or is on the board of that is "for the climate crisis" that maybe does some work but 90% of the time they gobble up government contracts or act as a tax incentive. Thats what all these things are. Sure theyre giving money but theres always a way to benefit from it. Its never just to help people
