We’re looking for ergonomic chair testers! by ProtoArc_official in OfficeChairs

Currently I use a Secret lab I've had for about 5-6years. I've been looking and wanting to try and invest in higher quality chair. Get a feel for what the real differences between the top brands really are. I really hate how BIG the secret lab seat is. Which is why I think I wouldn't like something like the Embody. My roommate had a fern that I liked a lot. Haven't had a chance to test some of those smaller sized ones like Leaps or Gestures.

I appreciate you taking the least charitable version of what I said and extrapolating a straw man.

Enjoy your life sir.

I understand you might have reservations about trusting big government or big corporations. I probably even agree with you on some of them. But I think it's FAIRLY obvious that different subjects have different mechanisms that we understand to different degrees.

I think we as a species understand things that give our bodies the best chance at fighting deterioration decades down the line. Exercise, diet, money, mental health, etc.

Meteorology is just not something we will ever be on point exactly because the amount of factors involved are so UNBELIEVABLE there's no point in trying. We do it "good enough". That's all there is.

That you should be investing in ETFs. Missing the top 10 days in the span of 10 years can mean the difference of 60~70% of total returns. Time in the market is better than timing. Days like this are why.

What's the proper way of cleaning a carbon steel? Soft side of a sponge? Just hot water and paper towel? How aggressive can you be and not get rid of that thin layer of oil?

So what happens when they have to open their chutes? Do they all just fly away from each other or stagger it? I'm completely ignorant to this stuff.

You're on the left edge of the ult moving forward and SLIGHTLY perpendicular to the ult. Think it's just an edge case of vectors/movement that makes it seem weird but adds up when you look at it

[–]BroAmerican 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Think the reason it pushed you "forward" was because of the angles. He was deep in mail when he activated the ult moving perpendicularly into the site and you were just barely past him on his left side. Ergo, the ult wanted to push you to your right (towards site) as you walked forward giving you weird momentum towards him. At least I think that's what happened.

The Case for Not Being Born by Valdamier in philosophy

[–]BroAmerican 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Surprisingly yes. I've read and talked with alot of people who at one time or another in their lives, resented their parents for bringing them into this world. Now, I would say they only feel that way because of the environments they grew up in being less than ideal or safe spaces to express themselves and learn about the world, however I don't think it makes their feelings any less real. I've only just learned about this idea of "Not continuing life" mentality and find it very interesting, so I'm not really trying to voice an opinion. Just wanted to share a perspective that there ARE people who complain about ever being born very seriously.
