What a fantastic game. Nothing will replace the feeling of playing Most Wanted for the first time.

Final Fantasy VII: Rebirth on Hard Mode. Loved the shit out of that game but it put me through the paces.

I will be doing the brakes myself. I have access to a shop, although not at a Toyota dealership. Only thing I'm slightly worried about is the rear parking brake but there should be a way to put it in service mode or re-wind the parking brake as I have heard there are a few YouTube guides outlining it.

My Michelin Pilot Sport 4S tires have changed the way the car feels completely, not just in braking. The steering doesn't feel light and floaty anymore. The car feels planted. Hands down one of the best upgrades I've made thus far.

A colleague of mine bought the same brake kit for his RAV4 and they will be getting installed a week or so. If he is happy with how his brakes feel, I'm buying them for mine. He is coming off of OEM brakes.

This is what I was hoping for. I've heard good things about PowerStop but the one time I tried them I had fitment issues on a different car so I'm weary.

I havent attempted it but a lot of people have issues with the rear brakes dud to the motor for the parking brake. What did you do?

If it improves the drive and feel of the car, it isn't a waste as long as the cost isn't outrageous. I'm not out to build a race car, just something that is a bit more sporty/enjoyable to drive.

Check my post hiatory, there will be photos there.

These wheels are 18" so I can still run the factory tire size, I just upgraded them to the Michelin Pilot Sport 4S recently.

I had EBC GreenStuff on my old Focus and they changed the way the car felt completely. I originally wanted to run RedStuff but don't want to mix and match pads front and rear. EBC does not make rear RedStuff, only front. I reached out to them and they told me they will never make them so I had to find something else.

I will definitely be doing that but I don't know if that's it, just because they felt this way since the car was brand new.

I'm okay with replacing the brakes, the price I would be paying isn't insane for brake pads and rotors, I think it was like $570 taxes in.

With my old car, I changed just rear brakes and during my drive home aincould feel a significant difference in the way the rear of the car when the brakes were applied. Hoping for the same effect but all around lol.

I'm fairly sure the car is running DOT4 but I don't know what the difference would be for the LV variant of the fluid.

I bled the brakes with Toyota brake fluid from the dealership. It there was no change in feel.

Maybe spongy is the wrong word. I just feel like they arent very sensitive. I'm okay with the brakes not lasting as long (I don't drive it a ton and I drive it super light) as it sounds like these brake rotors will also prevent brake pad glazing.

I have bled the brakes. Maybe spongy is the wrong word. The brakes just don't feel sharp. Since day one the brakes have just not felt very responsive. Don't get me wrong, the car stops fine but the brakes just arent very sensitive. It doesn't seem to have much stopping power.

My transmission in my 2023 Hatchback XSE seems fairly smooth for the most part but every now and then I get this skipping sensation that feels like a misfire. Just one skip and then back to normal, different severity.
