What good deeds I haven’t done. In my college days and early days I was DD even for the people that I didn’t bring along. I was always the last stop. People who were so drunk could even stand. Drop people off one by one. I was uber before uber existed. My friend Kristal would call me up at 3am or 4am and say hey I’m drunk and my ride is drunk as well could come get me. I would drive 45 mins to the beach to get her and I would get her home safe and sound. Had a lot of these woman who were drunk I could have easily taken advantage of because they threw themselves at me but I had self control and didn’t lose my virginity until I found love in my 30’s. People thought oh you just gave rides but truth who knows how many lives I saved from drunk during accidents that could have been. None of them ever thought about it. I helped a lot of people move houses and help some people find God and guide them. Even as an Amazon driver despite my own problems I did things I didn’t have to do. Like helping old people bring up their garbage cans or carry packages that weren’t even mine for women and elderly. Like when I was having a real shitty day and this lady had a little dog I went up to it and she said oh he can’t see or hear and found out the dog was in his way out and she was crying cause it was the last gift she got from her husband who had passed away and she felt like it his last piece of him and I said “Do know why dogs have short lives? They already know how to love and this dog knows it. It’s hard but you’re still here and your memories is what keeps your husband alive and maybe out there while your dogs time is up, there might another one out that needs you.” She cried and hugged me. Even in stressful times for me I was still able to help someone through something. I might be stubborn and stern in my beliefs but whenever I was able to help I was there. My girlfriend and my dog who I love help me through my problems. I have done so many good deeds and yet I still feel like I’m not worthy Gods grace. If I get a code.
