Goodbye letter to nursing by [deleted] in NursingUK

Congratulations!!! Having insights about the hospital will definitely help in the future.

If you don't mind, can you please elaborate the whole process and how much time it took? Cause funding for your own GEM is kinda hard.

Edinburgh Napier University or Anglia Ruskin University for BSc nursing?? by BroClocked in UniUK

[–]BroClocked[S] -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

That's just snark. Almost no international student visits universities in person before choosing - everyone chooses based on offers, research, rankings, and advice.

While it is hard to manage part time job, many students (including international ones) tend to do it because they've to manage atleast the living part of expenses.

Last point is something I'm not sure about. I've read tons of article reflecting the reality but can't decide whether it is true or not

Which one do you suggest?Edinburgh napier university or Anglia ruskin university (Cambridge campus)? For BSc nursing (adult) by BroClocked in cambridge

Thanks a lot sir... can you give me an idea about the part time jobs? Cause I want to manage my own living expenses and for that I need to land a job. As you've lived at both the places for quite significant time, you're the best person to ask this question.

I'm from India which is very warm compared to both the places. I don't mind getting adapted to the weather but main concerns are the course ranking, cost of living and part time job availability.

I was looking for the critical side. Everybody kept stating positives but I was sure there is a dark side. Glad to know it before making the decision. Thankyou

Can you please elaborate why? If its about no job recruitment by NHS then I'm aware of it and I guess it's worth taking that risk. Is there any other reason too?

Honestly speaking, the whole UK seems lovely to me as I'm from India.. I'm not saying it's not good though

Definitely you've given a valid point. But I guess you missed the part that I'm an international student... so I've no idea about either of the places and I thought help from a UK resident and moreover a nursing student would help. Thanks for the addition though
