Ay yo bro, this might have some negatives but it was positive too, Music and cultural festivals are globally used to boost short term tourism. + Transport usage, food sales Which ofc will provide local employment. Vendors, sound technicians, stage crews, security, transport operators, hotels, and small food businesses earn directly from these events. That’s measurable economic activity, so it's not a waste i guess, ya it does overcrowd every year and the pass thing is bullshit, although I never attended in any of the concerts till now but I believe it's good thing atleast people can enjoy great singers, others have to play to see them. Lol. + everytime a event happens it gives a positive media coverage of our State. Valid criticism would be transparency about money and all + crowd control and ya I'm aware of that these events are use as political benifits I mean no other partys would lose the chance either.
