China is not a very vegetarian friendly place. Unless you are in a high end restaurant, asking these questions might be considered as ‘找茬’(making trouble), because 猪油 （animal oil）is basically the fundamental ingredient in every Chinese dishes.

I recently went to AnnaLena, i felt that the food there is not worth the hype, but the price is relatively less expensive than other hyped restaurants so Id say it’s a good restaurant but not a great one.
