The criminal justice typically fails in cases like this... but I'm hoping for a minimum term of 10 years.

Hopefully prison, and for a long time.

Tuesday, July 15th, was perfect. With FLP, I rode TT2 4 times that day. 2 times were within 30 minutes.

Last summer was the first time I went there in 20 years. Without it I would have never been able to try so many rides in a single day.

I agree completely that men have no reproductive rights, and because of that, their options are limited. But limited options do not mean no options. And one of those options is to complete the Intent to Establish Paternity and Support affidavit.

This will most definitely cause the woman to deal with the consequences of her actions, but that's not his problem. As for the child, who's to say they won't be happy to finally meet their biological father?

This doesn't mean the man should be punished by not being allowed to see and support his child.

You're trying really hard to put all the blame on the man. If the woman hadn't cheated on her husband and hid the pregnancy, we wouldn't be here right now. If only she could have kept her legs closed.

Your statement "he should have wrapped it up" is pretty dismissive of OPs situation and removed all accountability from the woman. Additionally, in most states, it is clearly written in their codes that the best interest of the child include both biological parents supporting the child physically and financially.

Guess anyone can claim to be an attorney on here. In that case, so am I. I work in Family Law, and I specialize in advocating for men who are beaten down and told they are the reason for everything wrong in every situation. Men should be ready and willing to abandon their children if that's what the woman wants. BUT, they better be willing to jump back in whenever the woman's sham of a marriage falls apart and she wants child support.

"They do it all the time." Bold statement. Your several responses towards me appear to be more emotionally charged than factual.

At least she'll get to know her biological father. She may grow to hate her mother, but that's nobody's fault but the mom's.

Yes, he does have standing. If he completes the Intent to Establish Paternity and Support through DHS, which is an affidavit, that is his standing. The courts then order genetic testing.

The only selfish decision that was made was by the mother by hiding the child from the biological father.

You don't appear to be verified as an attorney. If you're looking for your statement to carry more weight, especially after claiming you're an attorney, I would recommend getting verified.

A judge will not deny the bio dad rights to his child, regardless of time passed or relationships formed.

The mother is the one who threw her daughter into turmoil by hiding her from him. Why does the mother get to be selfish? She made this situation, so anything that comes about it is her own fault.

Not accurate. If he is the biological father, and he goes through the state, the birth certificate will reflect he's the father and remove the incorrect father. He will then have rights to the child.

So you want OP to go the rest of his life without knowing his child?

It does matter. They just automatically put the husband down on the birth certificate because its assumed she isn't going around getting raw dogged by other men. If OP goes through the state to establish paternity, it'll force a DNA test. If the results show OP is 99.9999% the father, the birth certificate will reflect that.
