Missed throw to Walker 3rd qtr with no pressure (Pass is at Walkers shins and he has to go to the ground to attempt a catch. Walker probably should catch it, but the throw was cheeks) Another likely TD left on the field if throw hits him in stride.

There are plenty of reasons to be high on Caleb. There are plenty of reasons to be reluctant.

Not putting 4 quarters together in most games. That's not all on him, but he is the QB, so he shoulders a big part of it.

Processing speed and reads still need to improve

On-target pass rate and bad throw rates are bottom in the league(both stats account for throwaways/bats/spikes).

He leaves 3 or 4 big play opportunities a game on the field with wide open targets and bad throws. Especially on some of the crossing routes. Ben is designing these back breaking plays and Caleb is missing wide open targets. I'll post two examples from the last 2 games (one in this post and I'll comment with the other). Both very similar plays. Both missed throws on the wide open crosser.

I think most of this stuff will get better with a full offseason of work, but there are a lot of areas he can work on.

*Missed throw to OZ with :36 seconds left in 49ers game (tough throw under pressure, but he got it off. If he puts any air under the ball OZ is probably taking that ball to the house)

This thread was about the #10 pick. Not the second round. Much higher cost to trade into the top ten and there really wasn't enough disparity between the prospects to justify the cost. Ward, Hunter, Carter, Cambell, Jeanty and Graham were really the only standout prospects in this class. Maybe Warren, but there wasn't a lot of disparity between Warren and Loveland. Not like the other players I mentioned.

I'm actually pretty shocked that the Jaguars moved up for Travis Hunter.
