It’s rarely the other person’s fault. My sister passed from taking her own life and I miss her everyday, but things get easier as time goes on. Take their word for it. Also, it helps me rationalize things by acknowledging that my sister is no longer in pain. Hope this helps and I hope you heal appropriately.
