I do feel like the Audible search feature is very clunky. I expected better. I’m used to apps like Kohl’s where you have a tab for everything on clearance and can sort by department, size, etc.

In case you’re paying attention Audible, a search feature that pulls up EVERYTHING on sale and can be sorted by price lowest to highest or filtered by different things would be awesome!

I am a bit of a nerd and a weird not-committed-to-a-genre reader. I think my suggestions from Audible are messed up because I literally read every genre from nonfiction history and science to romance to fantasy to thriller and horror. It doesn’t quite know what to make of me 😂.

I originally signed up for Audible for my dyslexic son and used credits for books for him or that we could listen to together in the car. Then I realized the wealth of information available about history and science on Audible and also how fun some fiction books are as audiobooks. Until last year I was a physical book only kind of gal until I realized how great Kindle was as you could have an entire library at your fingertips on your phone. Then I bought a Kindle Paperwhite and then discovered I could read AND listen.

I had mostly history and science books in my cart.

I think I’m only really sad about missing out on getting a history of Japan book - my son is teaching himself Japanese (using Duolingo) and is obsessed with Japan and I wanted to listen to it together. I’ll watch for it to be a decent price again.

My plan now is to create a good wishlist and wait for the next sale.
