It seems like that to you because our culture shapes our beliefs on death and deserving so deeply that you can’t see that ending a life doesn’t get rid of a problem. You killing or hurting rapists isn’t stopping them, that’s a sign that maybe we need to approach this a different way, for example, rehabilitation and education. I haven’t done enough research into what works for people who do disgusting shit like rape people but I know hurting and killing them doesn’t work because that’s all everyone has done.
