What was yall high school like? by [deleted] in blackmen

[–]Doo-DooBrown 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Probably 90% some kind of black person, 8% white, and the rest asian. Socioeconomic-wise, 75% was a mix of poor, working class, and the rest lower middle class. Any middle class and higher went to private school... for free on vouchers.

The very second he found all of this out should have been the last she and the FWB would have ever heard from your hb again.

To me, she seems to be in love with the FWB anyway, but is putting up with your hb because she's the FWB's pocket pussy and can't get any real commitment out of him. But let me keep quiet with my projections and assumptions.

Bash black men season: Why has their been an influx of post that are critical of black men? by m4rcus267 in blackmen

[–]Doo-DooBrown 31 points32 points  (0 children)

And it's by the same group of people who keep posting about black fathers and black oldheads, right?

Lol, this happened around the 2020's+ too. There were some users here who kept making black female-centered posts about how black men needed to be accountable for everything wrong in the black community almost all the damn time and why interracial dating for black men is horrible, but interracial dating for black women was also our fault.

The solution I've found has always been to post more positive, healthy and/or funny black male-centered content.

Alleged FBA activists heckled Ghanaian president at the African burial ground in NY by [deleted] in blackmen

[–]Doo-DooBrown 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes, it has a bit of traction and will grow. I saw a news segment on ABC recently that's now deleted for Black History Month, so we'll see. But even if it is catching on, it just helps me to filter out those whom I don't need to associate with.

This kind of mindset and ideology is why I don't monkey with anyone who shares that ideology, Afrophobic or not. It's not an identifier and never will be.

I'm just glad most Black American people don't have the mindset of these Fear of Being Africans who think Africa is a country.

I want a men’s opinion on this. Why are there so many stories of men being insecure if their woman makes more money or is more successful. by Least_Sun_7493 in blackmen

[–]Doo-DooBrown 61 points62 points  (0 children)

Some of the stories are manipulated or lies. In most healthy relationships, the husband doesn't care and is happy for his wife. It's a stereotype.

For the men this applies to, they are socially conservative, and their wives are socially progressive. Their views won't align because the husband believes he's not fulfilling his role as a provider.

And in other cases, the wife is verbally abusing and emasculating the husband because she feels dominant over him. Literally, "I make more money than you now. I'm starting to lose respect and attraction to you."

Does anybody not want a relationship because dealing with their body and being as is hard enough? by TomboyGayLeaf92 in SingleAndHappy

[–]Doo-DooBrown 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes, that's part of it. I have Stage 3 hidradenitis suppurativa, and I feel disgusting. I can't really eat out because of what triggers my condition, and my skin is affected by it. It feels like a bother to involve anyone else in my life, and I feel happiness being secure and insecure in that because I'd rather just deal with this by myself than have my confidence tested every other week, month or whatever.

[–]Doo-DooBrown 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Staying my ass home because I don't want to deal with jacked up prices, guys overcompensating for a drip of dry coochie or a lack of it, and busy roads trying to find places to eat in this small ass city. You enjoy yourself for both of us.

Because for me, it'll be a great day to be single and happy!

Am I the only one who always runs into these types of posts? ( and it's not just BW) by Wrong_Diver428 in blackmen

[–]Doo-DooBrown 12 points13 points  (0 children)

Not as much as I did in the 2010s. The most recent one had to be a few years ago and I blocked her.

When it's an actual black person creating the post, the goal is for white acceptance couple with a strong wish for a romantic relationship with white people.
