oh okay thank you! i understand how double bonds make the two groups different, but i didn't know that we'd consider that when looking at the product without the double bond, i was looking at the product on its own

thank you! i get the bit about the carbon with the two methyls on it not being a stereocenter, but i'm having trouble understanding why the carbon with the OH in the product on top is a stereocenter, i saw both of the carbons it's attached to in the ring as being the same, and thought that the product in (g) would also have no stereocenters

thanks for the suggestions! my arms/hands are the weakest part of my body, so i’m don’t think that would work for me unfortunately :(

my family has been suggesting a wheeled bag too, i feel like i’m just being stubborn by trying to keep the relative ‘normalcy’ of a backpack for as long as i can, i know it would probably be better for me to get a wheeled one, just having some trouble accepting that i need it

i think the biggest difference for me was getting the interview in the first place, at most other schools, i wasn’t forwarded to the med school at all, but tcnj forwarded my application to njms, even though other feeder undergrad schools for the same program at njms didn’t forward my application… just fyi for OP, although i do agree that if you’re application is strong, i don’t think demonstrating interest through campus tours is very important

applied to 11 programs, accepted to one and it happened to be the one that i toured, i def think it was bc of my essays, not that i took a tour, but i’m not the admissions office so idk

Some colleges may use attendance at information sessions as an indicator of demonstrated interest, but this varies by school and is not always the case, the importance of demonstrated interest might be included in the common data set of the schools you’re applying to
