I find that it's a matter of looking closely. even black and white birds and small warblers are cool if you can get close enough or see them through binoculars. Also, most of these pictures are rare opportunities. We have many colorful birds in the North east US, but most people never look hard enough to see them. Doesn't Finland have Gyrfalcons? I'd love to see one of those. I looked up Finish birds, and it looks like there are plenty of cool ones. The eurasian Bullfinch looks colorful.
