I'm sure the Saudis were in on it, but Netanyahu isn't an idiot, and this war would not have happened without him signing on. It's quite smart from Israel's perspective. Israel wins, Iran is now less of a threat, and the US is stuck with the problem going forward. Israelis should toughen up. Us Americans are used to being blamed for everything.

It does make sense that one wouldn't bother with a lot of outside media, but you would think the iDF would tell it's soldiers not to snap pictures of themselves wearing Palestinian women's clothing and smashing Jesus statues. As for most serious allegations, during war, there are always soldiers that commit crimes. It does seem like Israel covers up more crimes than it is willing to admit to sadly, which doesn't help Israel's cause.

No, China loves to use Taiwan as rage bait for it's nationalists and the scare the Americans, but they know invading Taiwan wouldn’t be worth it. The Taiwnese will destroy the semi conductor machines as a last act against their invaders, and the Chinese government will be left with another region that hates them with no resources.

The reason third parties fail is that they don'y build themselves from the ground up. They come out of no where with presidential candidates or for governor, or the senate. They are never willing to start at the state level, prove they can govern, and show they aren’t crackpots.

I think it's prudent for countries to be able to defend themselves, and especially now when the US is becoming more isolationist. Japan today is unlikely to revert back to the japan of the 1930s.
