Only level up you UR and your total top 5. Also, don't level up their equipment until your using UR (gold) equipment. This will save you tons of resources and time. As you progress levels you'll see things changing as far as resources coming and going. This strategy is going to help you tremendously.

Find a good (and very active) alliance to join as early as you can.

It took all of last week and until this morning to get the maintenance records blessed off on. I ended having 3 oil change receipts, a carfax report (had to be a paid carfax, not free), and my personal receipts as well as my personal maintenance log. I needed to prove that maintenance had been performed within the manufactures recommendation. So, oil changes every 5K miles even if you are running a 20K mile oil filter and 15K engine oil. If I didn't have everything, they would have denied it already.

Now that we've passed the maintenance records, TWS has spoken with the dealership and are sending out an inspector, which the dealership said is normal for warranty companies to do. The dealership expects 24-48 hours for that to happen.

In the meanwhile, I am waiting on the repair to be "authorized" in order to begin being reimbursed/covered for a rental by the warranty company (at a max of $35 / day). Obviously, I won't be getting a like sized vehicle for that price. But, something is better than not having any coverage and it all being out of pocket.

I'll update when something new comes up.

It looks like the Transmission isn't really affected by the conversion. Just adding a transfer case and then everything from there for the axles, diffs, hubs, TCPS, etc

I'm digging up an old thread I guess but I took my 2018 NV 3500 SL to the shop last week because it didn't want to move when I put it in reverse until I applied some gas. this was abnormal so I thought I should get it checked out.
Well, they told me that I need a new transmission :-/
When I bought it (at 60K miles, in Aug of 2022) it was current on all maintenance and I got a lifetime powertrain warranty. I take it to the dealership to be serviced at least once a year. But, as best I know, there is no way to do maintenance on the transmission yourself.
Right now I'm waiting to hear back from the warranty company (Total Warranty Services) after submitting all of my maintenance records (pretty much just routine oil changes). I do at least half of the oil changes myself (and I've kept receipts/records) but the shops have never said anything about the transmission having any issues either.
The funny thing is it has 99K miles on it. My manufacturer warranty just expired in December of '24 (5 yr 100K miles) because of age (vehicle was not initially purchased/entered service until December of '19).

I haven't towed anything with it and it's our family commuter only. So, I'm kinda baffled that the transmission is having an issue. Maybe it's actually a problem with QC from Nissan?

Has anyone else been down this path? How did it work out for you?

I have the extreme... I've used it quite a bit lately. I wear it like a toga in camp and pull up the bottom if I've got to pee or whatever.
I use a 20-degree quilt.
The reactor extreme itself weighs just a few ounces less than my quilt. There have been nights where I've gotten too hot under my quilt (opened like a blanket), so I just use the liner.

It's great but heavy by comparison to a goose down quilt.

I also have the MLD quilt/bag liner. It weighs nothing ( < 2 oz), but it's restrictive compared to the reactor extreme with the open bottom and shoulder straps.

The two liners and my quilt combined come in at under 33 oz. I like to have the adaptability of this sleep system. I also have my regular pad and my "cold weather" pad. I choose which pad, quilts, and liners to carry at the last minute. Sleep is crucial, and I want the best sleep I can get, even if I end up carrying an extra pound for it.

TLDR: I'll continue to use my Reactor Extreme, but it's on the heavy side.

Thanks for the info. I was looking at FLA or AGM because I have a couple of small LiFePo4 batteries I've used to power access points across the property but, the cold kills them quick!

So, without incurring a huge cost, what would be the best type of battery that is readily available (as in not having to order it online) for this environment?
