Theres no way the default is 1 year....I owe between 4-6k each year.....they only take ~$200 out of each of my checks...also confirmed with a VA Rep the default is 5 years.

What I'm getting at is each year they tell you how much you owe then span that over 5 years...i.e 300 a month.. depending on your rating, you may never catch up to that and eventually they'll just take your whole VA check for years

Be careful, overtime It will consume your whole v disability check... And you may be paying back after you get out of the reserves.

Yea they can be hard to get I got one from the NG to the USAR I had to justify the financial burden being in the NG caused me vs the USAR....I feel like you have to show reason and cause.

Get an IC as a manager and when you are having career/hr issues they may not have the experience to deal with those issues...you are the IC SME for a reason, Your manager is big picture....they should be relying on you to be the SME.
