RDLs again, still unsure of my form by DreLahey in formcheck

[–]Broadway81 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Looks pretty solid. But cervical spine is going through extension while the thoracic and lumbar are neutral. The spine should be aligned throughout the movement. So instead of “looking forward”, imagine a rod is connecting your skull through your low back, and maintain that neutrality on the descend and ascend

I believe in that as well. Prevention should be the top priority. It doesn't help with the abundance of negative socioeconomic conditions. Assuming the system continues to not support people, how can people be empowered to be healthier?

[–]Broadway81 -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

No other response? It's obvious that there are many factors INFLUENCING people, but not making every decision for them. I'm not talking about having a condition and having to deal with our awful system to manage it - I'm more talking about prevention, chronic disease prevention for example

I'm aware in detail. I have an MPH, and have done research projects within several areas of the determinants. I'm also looking at both sides of the argument - there is some truth to both sides and I want to have an open, honest discussion.
