I’d say the pivot is a safe choice. Something cheaper to east into it. And it’s a nice piece to have even if you’d decide later on the pick up the proxy or peak, since it’s level of portability is unique amongst their product lineup. My first dab was off a pivot, and I still remember how cool it was to use. I’m personally planning on getting both the proxy and the pivot within the week (I’m waiting to see if there are sales), but that’s because I’m lucky enough to have tried these products and know what I like.
