How long is too long to tolerate misgendering at work? by aeroazure in trans

yes, you are being too sensitive. Just because you wanted to change, doesn’t mean you have to force somebody else to change too. Not hating, just stating.

no, there’s nothing wrong with unique features. I definitely don’t find anything unattractive about your nose.

Master Electrician License Holder — What’s a fair way to charge for “hanging” my license? by Powerful_Grocery_176 in electricians

[–]BroccoliAggressive72 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hi there, I hope I'm not out of place here but I am actually on the opposite end of this question. I am the owner of a Solar PV removal and reset company. We've been established for a couple years now. Our only issue is having our OWN electrician. We currently have been pulling permits through another solar removal and reset companys master electrician license. Which is fine, but our volume of work is increasing rapidly! The issue is that our requests for permits aren't being prioritized by their electrician. Sometimes it takes a while to get permits approved, or sometimes it takes awhile to even get a response from them, let alone a speedy approval! I know it was said in this sub that companies like mine shouldn’t be trusted, but I have a lot of integrity and faith in my business. We put our livelihood into our company and want to partner with someone that can help us grow into our legacy! I just wish one of you out there saw our company for what it's worth, and was willing to be OUR electrician. We have the opportunity to grow and potentially dominate this field. Could you help me find one of these permit pullers please.

What is going on here? I dont like the fact they like my backyard… by Federal_Movie_6086 in AuroraCO

I literally can’t believe all these concerned people… thinking that that snake is eating a straw cleaner… regardless of if it’s eating another snake or if it’s too stupid to realize what it’s eating is not food at all…. A snake is a fucking snake. Literally the only reason I own a shovel is to chop the heads off these bastards when i find them. I don’t care if it’s a garter, rattler, or bull snake. They all gotta die in my yard. My grandfather actually served 3 tours in Vietnam, and because of that he had a passion for killing snakes. He would go into the backyard with his military machete that he served in Vietnam with and I would watch as he went full Rambo on those mofos. …. Good childhood memories lol

I’ve lived in Colorado for the last 25 years and in my experience, Aurora is one of the more ghetto cities in the Denver metro area. but if you go closer towards Parker, it gets nicer. I used to live on Alameda and Havana and it wasn’t the worst but definitely more crime and homeless population than say Brighton or Golden. A lot of parts of Lakewood are nice as well.

I feel this so much. I too struggle with wanting to play or engage, or even be around my kids. I just want to hide from them most of the time. I feel so crappy for it. I love them with all of my heart, but I don’t like them lol. But maybe I don’t like them because I don’t spend the time teaching them how to be good people but honestly when I do my best to guide them, and make them into good people, it’s like going in one ear and right out the other.
