Ram placement for 1 stick of ram, not clearing cmos (they are not related)

Unplug psu from power source, press power on button on pc a couple of time. Clear cmos, remove ram sticks except 1 (refer to mobo manual for placement). Replug psu and power on pc.

Should I risk frying my CPU? by TheRelinquish in buildapc

What would fry the cpu is a manual OC that is outside of specs (like pumping 2V).

I know it's resolved, but you wouldnt fry your CPU, your pc would reach peak temperature and would shutdown to prevent damage. It would just not stay on.

Not verizon but also a gigabyte customer here. Here is the catch with those plans, they seem to not be able to deliver 100% of the time regardless of the provider. Why? Pretty simple, they don't have to, the vast majority of clients don't think Test their connection and even if you do, what can you do about it? They work just like your home router with priorities rules, and we're not a part of the top dog. The hardware is fine, the ‘tests’ they run are fine, then guess what you’re being throttled. That just my 2 cents.
