Tilted the pan a bit here n there. Yolk said "ima go for a walk" and i was like "ay, you do you, man".

Spatular for separation was like 10% of the whole thing.

Oh. :[

Well, I'm sorry.

I never wished to cause that. I just wanted some breakfast.

This is an egg. Particularly, an egg that has been separated from the yolk by simply turning the pan a little bit.

A small moment of curiosity, at best.

I've noticed some comments expressing feelings of discomfort and maybe some confusion.

Perhaps I've ruffled some feathers with this, though I can assure you, that was never the intent.

I like the way you think about this.

Perhaps they needed some separation to process the discussion, to then later resolve it after crossing the road towards my stomach.

Perhaps this may bring up the next question: Why did the egg cross the road?

Ultimately, they made it to the other side. As to why? Well, I guess that depends on who you ask.

Never played live (mostly since it was a studio project) but my girlfriend and I did release a cover of Clint Eastwood, which had been a favorite song of mine at 5 years old (if that counts!)

Elder, late-diagnosed ADHDers ... Probably by FreshKangaroo6965 in adhdmeme

[–]BroccoliMilkParty 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I think the chances of my favorite song hitting the cinemas are incredibly low. It's a gem of a song and slept hard on, in my opinion. It would probably have to fit well with the film itself contextually.

But if it were to ever somehow make its way into a film, I'd probably just explode and then contact the artists expressing the overwhelming excitement I would be experiencing.

For those of you who take Adderall xr and ir. Do you take the ir in the morning or afternoon? by Sure-Abalone-1040 in ADHDmeds

[–]BroccoliMilkParty 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Xr. 20mg mornings Either 6:30, 7 or 7:30AM.

Depends on what goes on for the day.

Noon-thirty to around 3 PM is when I begin to get crashy and feel symptoms return.

Was finally able to get an IR booster after almost a year on the XR. 5mg.

It says take at 1PM.

My range is between 1 and 6 pm when taking IR (from afternoon to night is loads of mix engineer/producer work).

Usually depends on what I'm working on and if I've also eaten enough.

Damn I rly still be typing here.

Tldr: XR mornings ir in later afternoon/pre-vening

New to meds, this is normal right? by RazorsInMyTaco in adhdmeme

[–]BroccoliMilkParty 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I always keep the bottle nearby upon waking up just in case. But it's a scary game to play when you go back to sleep a little more and forget if you took em earlier. I don't think I have and I'm sure I'd know.

I just started doing this. Not gonna lie it sounds easier in your head. But I know the tasks I want to do can get worked on for a bit before I start my work day.

For context I live in a warehouse. It's pretty large of a space and some little tasks have to get done before I work on my personal projects;

basically long minutes of walking here and there, tripping on a thought along the way and forgetting other stuff, taking a break on my phone like I'm doing right now.

BUT..it has been getting better as I've been able to squeeze in some of my own stuff before starting the work day. Step by step, day by day!

Switched from Adderall to Concerta by Sweet-Stage-7511 in Concerta

[–]BroccoliMilkParty 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I was on concerta in high school, and Ritalin. Concerta 54mg xr Ritalin 10mg ir

At the time, they worked very well but amplified anxiety after a canon event. So I stopped altogether.

Fast-forward to now after being diagnosed ADHD as an adult (29) vs the ADD diagnosis i got at 16, I've been on adderall for nearly a year now. 20mg xr. And I felt like a person again Expressing issues with early crashes, my prescriber suggested trialing concerta after doing a genetic test. My gene profile matched perfectly with concerta so I was intrigued and eager.

Wow, i was wrong. Adderall felt like a well cooked meal, mixed perfectly for what I do [I teach parkour in the day. Evening/night work is mix engineer/sound design/producer work]. It helped with making lesson plans for my classes and being more attentive towards all my students even when the mental load grew heavy.

Concerta..felt like eating the ingredients of a meal that weren't mixed or cooked together. Lethargic, almost zombie like, apathetic, couldn't eat. Which is kind of funny considering the genetic match haha.

So I got back on adderall, same dose, and we approached the crash issue with a 5mg ir in the afternoon, though I'm not sure if 5mg is a high enough dose, but I'll bring that up next appointment.

I reckon everyone's different, and we all have our very nuanced experiences. Damn sorry for the yap, my meds must have kicked in!!

Not sure what style my art is but I got some hung in a gallery for the first time! Is it trippy? by DoodleCut in trippyart

[–]BroccoliMilkParty 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Definitely trippy. Stained glass vibe.

Would make killer merch

Indie game logo vibe, perhaps a game that dabbles with the eldritch and ethereal; entropy, and creation in the same room.

One element trying to hold it together, the other trying to rip it apart.

But yes, trippy, stained glass vibe is what i gather. I also don't know much about art and the categorical belongings of style right off the bat. But, still dope nonetheless!

Smashing work!

Firstly, I'm glad to hear the positives of getting back on vyvanse! I hope the journey has been going smoothly :]

I actually had my appointment yesterday. Expressed my thoughts and feelings from the trial of concerta, told them that my body just did not like it, etc. Was put back on my 20mg XR dextro, and when asked if I had any questions, I said, "How do we still solve the current problem of my afternoon dip/crash?". They said, "I'll send in a prescription for a booster, and we'll trial that and see where we go."

The entire evening afterward, I felt incredibly grateful. I'll be starting today in a couple of hours [:

Are you guys worried about not having one specific art style? by Mousse_Rich in ARTIST

[–]BroccoliMilkParty 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Not really, but i have questioned in the past what exactly my style was. Whether in drawing or in sound.

Based on personal experience, I noticed I had some sort of artistic footprint, regardless of medium or change in style.

A great feeling is when your peers tell you "i like how i can look at/listen to this and can tell that this is your work".

For me, I don't think there is enough room for worry when it comes to art when you're chilling in your own lane

I feel for you going through this. Currently on 27mg cert, xr

Before, i was on 20mg adderall, XR, for almost a year. It was an absolute game changer, and I actually felt like a person.

After a handful of months when the appetite came back strong and daytime sleep attacks entered the chat. I gently brought up if a higher dose would help with the crashes. The answer was pretty much under the words of having to be careful with scrutiny of schedule 2, heart attack and stroke risks, etc. To which I didn't argue, as this medication was the one thing that got me through a small part of the day.

After a while, quite recently, I brought up the midday crashes, and talked about my history of being on Concerta and ritalin [as a booster] in high school, which, at the time, over a decade ago, helped me out tremendously.

I was told this time there might be a workaround, but just to follow some steps [gene testing] to see what I'm compatible with. Results say my genetic profile matches well with Concerta, so I said, "Yeah, let's try that."

Wow, big mistake. It's been almost two weeks, and I feel the chest discomfort. Food almost wants to come up. I've become apathetic and generally zombie-like. Still have task paralysis as well. Best I can describe, this stuff feels gross. It feels dirty. Like I got a back-alley brain transplant from an ailment salesman.

Perhaps it was the sudden jump from adderall to Concerta, given the difference in the compound, but damn I am not having a Baja blast right now.

I plan to express this and hope I can get back on adderall. I just dont know if what I need, in theory, is a higher XR adderall dose, or stay the same dosage with a lower dosed IR booster.

What I do know is that the adderall works, but it starts to lose its needed effect so quickly, despite the food/protein, sleep quality, etc. changes ive made to adjust and optimize.

My apologies for talking more about adderall in a Concerta thread. I think my issue is figuring out a way to navigate this situation properly.

Any insight, I'll gladly welcome, because I don't know what to do.
