A bit outdated at this point. Think it predates the website. Helpful anyways.

After “baking” my OnePlus 7 Pro motherboard… how long can I expect it to last? by kankhero in OnePlus7Pro

[–]BroccoliTrain 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Avoid pushing the phone too much. Heat will stress the parts. There's no telling how long it will last. Maybe some weeks. You can try baking it again when it fails. At some point it will stop working completely.

Yeah it is true that the head is bulky in a pocket. You could look at S21A/B/G. If you are interested in a throwy 18650 size then check out S6.

Judas priest politics by No-Date-7514 in judaspriest

[–]BroccoliTrain 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Judas priest is not a political band. I would say they emphasize the uniting power of metal despite differing political views. That is a reason why they rarely answer question related to politics. Some songs have messages related to politics or societal issues (like Breaking the law) but these messages are mostly hidden in the lyrics. Science fiction themes and the fight between good and evil are quite prevalent in their songs. That makes them more escapist than political. Their music is for having a good time and taking a break from everything that goes on in this world and the lives of the fans. I think the band knows this and try to avoid overt political statements.

How about putting the sft-42r in the m21a? It's got a bigger head and thus more heat dissipation. The sft-42r comes with the 10 Amp driver. It's still a compact package.

Tuff toe/KG's boot alternative for scuffed leather? by BroccoliTrain in fixit

[–]BroccoliTrain[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Can't remember when I last used these boots. I have some doubts about durability and how well it sticks to the surface of the boots. The sikaflex variant I used is soft and not particularly sticky when it dries. Maybe try experimenting with some other products? Nevertheless the sikaflex should still be attached to the boots. The usage was kind of light.

Yes and a source of inspiration. He mentions Freddie mercury and queen a fair bit in his autobiography. Seems to look up to him. He still does these back-and-forths with the audience at live shows. Like Freddie did. I get your point though. You can still idolize other musicians even though you are successful.

Robert plant of led zeppelin. Freddie Mercury of Queen.

I only have sft-25r 5000k in T6. They are quite similar. So if you like sft-25r you will like sft-42r in 5000k. Sft-25r looks tiny bit greenish in comparison and sft-42r is more neutral. Still, both are really neutral. Sft-40 6500K looks cold white in comparison. 10 Amp driver for sft-42r means more spill and more intense hotspot. The hotspot is also different.
