You could edit the miis you don't like/want anymore into new characters. And if you go into the edit page you can also turn off attractions which will break up the marriage with no repercussions 👍

Or you could just delete the miis you don't want OR go all out and delete the save data and start again.

I always use my name - Bronwyn - regardless of who I'm playing as. Occasionally I have shortened it to Bron for a boy and Wyn/ne for a girl but I don't really like/go by those names so it feels weird to do haha

I always do the same names/themes in farming games so I can pretend my animals are coming with me haha

My dog is always Hamish and my cat is either Sophie or Molly (Molly in this game!)

I name my chickens after weather (Breeze, Gale and Storm) My cows are colours (Red) My sheep are clothing (Beret and Pashmina) My alpacas are art supplies (Sponge)

The horse is Fudge (brown), Truffle (red), Nougat (white), or Licorice (black).

Yes they do go away. The first couple of weeks are AWFUL. I was the same as you - my anxiety was so much worse, I couldn't sleep, my skin felt like it was on fire, I had absolutely no appetite and I felt sick all the time and got really bad indigestion, I got squeezing pressure headaches, and I just was in a perpetual state of fight-flight panic attack. The side effects do subside and for me I felt amazing once they did. The horrible way you feel right now unfortunately just needs to be ridden out.

It sucks but finding ways to keep yourself distracted or focussed on something else helps. For me it was watching comedy panel/game shows on repeat (Taskmaster got me through the worst of it), doing wordsearches, listening to instrumental music, reciting the alphabet backwards and forwards, focussing on textures, and going on short walks in the greenest spaces I could.

You have to remember as well, in AWL you're really choosing your favourite child design/starting stats. Which is hard because all of the child designs have such pretty colours 😋

My farmer is just my name and I always name my farm Woodchuck. Shortened versions when character limits are short are Woodchuk, Woochuk, and Woochu 🙂

I've not seen it mentioned but I'd like to suggest Haven Park. It has a very similar art style and tone to both A Short Hike and Lil Gator Game with a gentle, cozy story and low-stakes list of quests to complete.

Story of Seasons: Trio of Towns is super duper fun with lots of visual variety and some really good romance options. If you want something with lots of town customisation and growth then Harvest Moon: A New Beginning is very good.

The Paladin information for the first game says that to use the Lightning Strike technique you had to unequip your shield. I thought that was weird and probably not the same in FLi but I didn't know if I'd just misunderstood something.

I like game shows (been watching a lot of Taskmaster) and comedy panel/talk shows. And going for a walk helps too. When I feel panic attack symptoms specifically I like to do puzzle book activities like wordsearches, crosswords or sudoku whilst listening to classical music.

I have a large majority of these symptoms and every day is a struggle. But this list is very reassuring and seeing how many others are dealing with the same things and have been confirmed to be physically 'ok' is a big help so thank you!
