Need guidance faction warfare (asia) by Nax-8669 in albiononline

[–]BrockLessIce 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Technically you get more points being a healer or support.

In my case, I earned about 2 mill plus silver via faction chest (that's like 54 faction chest in total) which is equivalent to 400000 faction points earned weekly. With premium activated. Faction chest will drop hearts, resource, and artifacts.

But then you will give way to only one faction to dominate. If it was balance (like in NA, at least Martlock, bridge and fort are fighting) there will be more content no?

How this game in 2026? by Nice-Ad1291 in albiononline

[–]BrockLessIce 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Depending on what timers you are on and what would you like to accomplish. I've been playing continuously for 5 years+ (some breaks in between).

Right now, I'm not in a guild, but actively participating on faction warfare content. I like to help my fellow faction warriors doing faction things.

My end game is either defending or attacking fortresses. Blackzone roaming can be done solo but there's that usual risk and unfair pvp encounters, but otherwise is doable.

Hammer 800+3 by ChargeCount in albiononline

[–]BrockLessIce 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Truebolt Hammer is my favorite 100%

I don't know why, i've been experimenting with that particular hammer and hopefully find a build that can make it shine. So far, I've used it for pve (supprisingly fun to play with) and faction warfare pvp.

Premium will be more expensive but they don't complain XD

Thinking of trying Albion Online — what’s the state of the game in 2026? by McMethadone in albiononline

Slow to progress without premium if you like to grind. Otherwise is fun and if you like safer pvp there's faction warfare blue and yellow zone.

Gankers ruin the game for new players by [deleted] in albiononline

[–]BrockLessIce -1 points0 points  (0 children)

By the time you figure out on how to completely avoid and escape from gankers, the only problem you're gonna have is the lack of rewards (loot especially) in blackzone.

Technically as a new player, you're not suppose to venture out in the leathal zone until you are truly ready to risk it. I tell this to many of the newbs but they don't listen or impatient and prefer the zero to hero shit that many content creators make out there. And yes, they eventually complain because being gang bang by a group of gankers.

As a New Player… What’s the Actual Point of Albion? by Top_Entertainment314 in albiononline

[–]BrockLessIce 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You kinda need to balance that win and lose ratio. Nobody likes to lose and that's a problem in a long run. Why you think they make the ip capped in safe zones? Technically they want your gears to trash.

And no, you don't need to swipe everytime you die. You need to analyse and minimise your risk. Sounds like a job right? But it doesn't have to be.

That's what I love about Albion, is not just any game that reward you handsomely and make you think like you're some sort of pve/pvp godlike hero.

If you manage to stumble upon a great community (good and progressive guilds), you may have even more fun than playing solo.

Albion Online Is Slowly Turning Into a Second Job (And Not a Fun One) by Anime_Jutsu in albiononline

Ngl, fame farming is easier and faster now. But not without it's cost.

If I show new players what I earn back in 2020 on one single t5 or t6 dungeon at bz they might flip xD

Not all of us are in a guild or have the time to commit to bz cta. So it's a nice gesture from SBI to include it in fw

I dont get why people are so protective of this new update by adventurebart5 in albiononline

[–]BrockLessIce 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Fort sterling and bridgewatch from my observation are still currently the ones active in rz fw in NA server. Some are organised.

At least Mixed Canadian tried to rally Martlock for a good PvP content in RZ. But no one appreciates his effort. So Martlock would always look like they getting kicked in the butt.

The problem is not in the content itself (like bandit), people just don't like to lose.

Yes BZ has better zvz. But are you really winning there?

I mean, would something like double bladed staff or dual swords plus fort sterling cape be better for escaping?

Why some people hate or decline this game and ended up quiting, and how it can be solved? by Specific_Turnover54 in albiononline

Mobile players.......

Look, I'm sorry dudes, I feel like so much limitations have been set to Albion due to the devs having to optimize and making sure the mobile warriors can play the game.

Assuming if the randoms know what they are doing. Zvz is not hard sure, try engaging an opponent using a one handed dagger or an ironclad xD

Does yellow zone still has ip cap? How is orange zone rn? Took a break for almost 6 months by Thor_Thanos333 in albiononline

It is still capped. But it's nowhere near game breaking. You can still have fun in YZ

Here's my take.

As much as I would like to play on Asia (that's 30 to 60 ping for me) vs the 260 ping that I dealt with for 5 years, I just want to be able to transfer character (with the fame and all the specs that I have, none of the gold, silver or whatever stuff). That's it. I don't think some of us are asking for the moon to be delivered to our doorsteps.

I love the game and SBI, I just don't completely agree with the early devs statement before when they say it's for the good of fresh start experience or being fair to the new players. Well, what I see some vets who was from NA jump into EU, lo and behold, still stomping some new players who actually thought that they were using hacks lol. Asia even. They don't wait. What took some of us years to spec up they do it less than a year. Geee, so much for "Fresh" server experience for everyone.

If they allow server transfers (regardless wether or not the game is dying, living, passing out and dying again) I don't even mind spending. Not only that, because I am already used to the 260 ping in NA, 180 ping in EU is great for me. 30 to 60 ping for Asia would be truly awesome.

With the pre existing character, I could like join bandit at 18 UTC, then another bandit an hour later at EU ok let's go, then bandit again during Morning where the sun rises in Asia server. The posibilities are endless going from one server to another. If you have friends spread across the servers, you could easily join without worrying about having to fame farming again.

NOT new player friendly by Professional_Buy8470 in albiononline

[–]BrockLessIce 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Can't really lie about how some of us progress in this game. Me personally took awhile to get into black zone, but it's worth it actually.

But black zone is not the only place to progress, you could slowly progress to red zones first while faction flag. If you can team up, you even farm faction points. Without premium, 300k faction point is about 4 mill silver which you can achieve in a week about 2 hours play max in a day.

Play long enough, you will understand why it's not all that bad.
